Morton's The Steakhouse reviews
17We had an excellent Christmas dinner here. Mortons never disappoints. I only gave it 4 stars for atmosphere due to the noise level, but being a holiday, it was expected.
Went with a friend for an early dinner with a friend tonight. I was telling him that the last couple of times I had gone to one of the steakhouses in KOP, as soon as the server found out we didn't drink our the waiter barely paid attention to us.
Tonight, our server and the staff proved me wrong. Rex was our server and was great, every time my iced tea was low he appeared with a fresh glass.
The food was excellent, we had filets with mashed potatoes, mushrooms as sides and caprese salads as appetizers.
The portions were large without being overwhelming. Everything was prepared perfectly.
My wife managed corporate dining rooms for years and I am kind of "picky" to be polite. But Rex and the staff were great. A very well run dining room.
Great vibe, they even decorated for NYE with hats and noise makers on the table. Food was 10/10. Definitely will be returning.
Horrible.for the love of God do not go here.they brought me RAW steak (blue in the center) then when I asked for them to fix it, came back burnt and well done. I had asked for medium rare.
Sadly the execution of the food has gone downhill while the prices have gone way up. The 3 scallops were small and the chutney was missing ($26). The wedge salad was dry, not dressed enough ($13). The (2) mini crab cakes were served with a beurre blanc sauce instead of the usual mustard mayonnaise; unclear if this was a mistake or if this is how it is served now ($18). Bread had to be requested. Cocktails are $18 on the menu but if you ask for a specific liquor expect to be up-charged (I ordered absolute martini and was $20 when grey goose is listed for $18. A disappointing yet expensive dining experience.
Went here last night and spent over 2 and half hours here. Not by choice either. The service was so slow. Our server was very inattentive. Water glasses were empty for far too long. It took about 7 or so minutes after we sat down just to get water and few minutes after that for our server to come to our table. She would come to the table every blue moon to check on us. I had to ask one of the managers for Togo containers because she had not been around in a long time. For the price of the food and the bill I expected better.
The place was great but we waited damn there 2hrs for food i have never experienced that before and then food was cold other then that no problem
This was the best meal and service I have ever experienced. We went for an anniversary dinner and our server Shawna was amazing! She helped us navigate the menu and made us feel very welcoming. This is a top notch restaurant and a great atmosphere for a romantic dinner. The food was to die for.you will not regret going to check it out. Yes the bill was hefty but 110% worth it for special occasions. We left very satisfied and will be visiting again!
I went to celebrate my birthday and some of arrive at 7;30 but the rest was having a hard time finding the place the manager was so nasty telling us we need to order and whoever comes after can’t order
Overall a phenomenal experience. They make you feel very welcome. Katlin was a phenomenal server who made us feel like we were her top priority. The host did a phenomenal job checking up on us and taking pics for our anniversary celebration. Overall this is a very welcoming environment with phenomenal food. Thank you again to our host, and Katlin for a perfect experience.
Shawna, our outstanding waitress, kicked off the evening with a delightful lemon drop and a Pinot Noir. The chefs executed flawlessly with the filet mignon and prime Cajun ribeye, complemented by corn soufflé and potato au gratin. Hats off to the chefs!
Been coming here for years. But at the old location in, Philadelphia. It was dress attire. Dinner jacket. This one more lay back. In former. I like it when it was, dress attire. But great food and great staff.
As always they NEVER disappoint! From drinks to appetizers to entree! Excellent service and a fantastic meal and experience. Attention to detail is never lacking ever. Always made to feel welcome and very much appreciated! From a very loyal follower and patron! We'll always come back!
Had a great family dinner for my sisters 50th bday which they even gave us our own special printed menus that said happy 50th birthday at the top! This place is great and has the best people working there! Highly recommend!
Treats people different if you don’t look like you have money you won’t get treated like a 5 star
We had a wonderful evening at Morton’s today! Courtney provided impeccable service and delightful conversation. We started with the complementary bread fresh from the oven and whipped butter— so delicious! The Baked 5 Onion Soup was the best and most flavorful we’ve had in a long while, and we order onion soup frequently. We shared the beautifully presented Grand Ocean Platter. The seafood was very fresh and prepared to perfection. Our grilled asparagus were perfectly cooked. The Strawberry Brûlée Cheesecake exceeded our expectations! The other desserts were very tempting, but since the cheesecake was a seasonal dessert, it won out, and we were so happy that we chose it. We’ll definitely return, and we hope Courtney will be our server again. We highly recommend this experience!
I love Morton's the food is always top notch as well as the service. I reduced the atmosphere to 4 stars because it's always sooooo dark in there. It's one thing to set the mood, but I also want to see what's going on around me
