Mount Hope Estate & Winery reviews
20I enjoyed a lovely lunch with Compeer. They hosted our Friendsgiving lunch with promptness and really made the lunch smooth and pleasurable. I wasn't that keen on their choice of dessert though. The setting looks like something out of a Christmas movie!
I love the PA Ren Faire. It was so much fun there are a lot of shows and things to see. It is definitely family friendly but fun for adults too.
Awesome experience, Majority of the time.
I never leave here without at least 1 case. However the most recent "bartender" knew nothing about any of the drinks. And didn't even say what she was pouring into our sampler cup. After 5 years of coming here, I could tell her more about your wines than she knew. Love this place, bush Sheeeesh.
No one is an outsider here at the shire! With a wine glass in one hand and a turkey let in another with my costume, I feel like this is the closest to home I have ever been. This is where I go to fill my heart with happiness! Good clean family fun with a little extra for us adults. Reasonably priced. Keep an eye out for special pricing events and coupons.
My husband and I visit the Renaissance Faire every October. We are never disappointed by the shows, food and souvenirs. In 2020, we got married and used the Saucy Apple as a main drink at pur reception. It was a hit! We went through 18 bottles, no problem, at a wedding with 56 people! Of course when we returned, we grabbed a few more bottles and we were servered by the same blonde woman with glasses that helped us before our wedding! She was just as kind as the year before! I hope she sees this because we hope to see you next year too!
I went to the Renaissance Faire,
the Lords and Ladies were there;
Vikings and Knights,
And Medival sights,
It was quite extraordinaire!
We wanted to see our friend Andrea Haines at Ferment on Market Street, Perkasie, PA. The mojito kombucha mocktail was delicious.
Best rums & wines around! I've fallen in love with their chocolate rum! Put a little in my evening coffee, and don't need dessert!
The staff is VERY professional and friendly. Organized. Honestly the place is gorgeous! Can be a little crowded during peak Ren. Faire season though.
Renn Faire was fun as always! The bathrooms could really use some updating and the food lines take forever on sold out days but the shows are awesome!
First time at the Renaissance Fair. It was interesting and a bit magical being transported to that time and place. A fun afternoon with my kids (who are adults, but still my kids)
Always love the wine, the trial of the wine. The atmosphere is great, especially when they are not busy with a bunch of people. Really grreat, give it a try to see where the wine will go
PA Ren fair is top notch family fun. We go every year in full costume. Ensure you see the KNIGHT WINGS show featuring beautiful birds by Ash Cary, as well as Adam Bonk's amazing stunt work that includes fire whip and sword throwing!
This is my 3rd adventure to the PA Ren Faire. I went last year and the year before. But this year I invited more friends along! We had a very good time after being holed up due to covid.
For entertainment, the PA Ren Faire has an excellent series of shows and games! Some require cash, but most merchants enable credit. Food needs cash, so remember that!
You can get an outfit and weapons! While a majority of mine were purchased outside, I always love venturing through the stores to find more pieces. Always go near Halloween! And sometimes the merchants give candy to ya!
I will say, it's very hilly and rough ok your feet. But it's pretty open but gets thoroughly populated throughout the hours of operation. So be prepared!
Can't wait till next year!
Always love going to the PA Renaissance Faire. This year did not disappoint! Joust was amazing though wish the bad guys had won the Ultimate Joust since it was Halloween lol Such a nice day out for the Faire in the Autumn. The shire is decorated for Fall and Halloween. So much to do and see. Great shoppes selling unique wares. Plenty of food and entertainment. People walking around in costume. Love the Faire!
I was hoping to buy a case of wine but they were short staffed and no one helped me so I ended up only buying 4 bottles of their real good fruity wines, like raspberry and blackberry. Very disappointed that they no longer make my favorite strawberry wine.
Went to the Renaissance Fair today. Not bad. The only draw back is in Lancaster county and the Anish is that is always cash only. Which is fine. Not. If you want cash only have plenty of atms that are available. One ATM with a 30 person line is stupid. Other wise not a bad time
Pa Ren Faire is a fun place to visit. Open August through October. Good food and unique items for sale. Entertaining shows.
What a great time! I last went years ago and they've really built it up and made a fantastic entertainment destination! Can't wait to go back again.
The PA Renaissance Faire is always a great time. The artists and actors are top notch and the location itself is laid out well. Remember to get a map with the performance times and locations at the stand in front of you entrance. You will likely end up spending a lot of money especially if you're going to eat there. A large soft pretzel is $11 and cheese will set you back an additional $4.so $15 for a pretzel with cheese! Turkey legs are $11. Waters are $4, the same as other non alcoholic drinks. Take in the shows otherwise it may start to feel like you paid admission just to be able to pay for more things. Remember to tip too.
