Mount Joy Family Restaurant

Funny little diner in Mount Joy I've been to twice now waiting for my train. Incredibly cheap, pretty good diner food, and the staff seems nice and like they get along well. I just don't understand why I have to pay the cashier up front rather than the server. It feels outdated, but I guess it's good someone's got a job.

We left basically without eating our food. I can appreciate a "greasy spoon" type place, but this was just gross. The whole place felt dirty, our food came room temperature, and we weren't in the mood to get food poisoning, so we just paid our bill and left.

We go nearly every Monday for dinner and have never been disappointed. Food is amazing, prices are fair, and portions are large. The staff is wonderful and so kind and helpful.

Breakfast was good and staff was friendly and attentive. It's a nice small town diner and I would recommend to anyone looking for a decent breakfast.

What a hidden gem! Great food, good service and low, low prices make this my new favorite restaurant. Owner works hard to keep prices down. Staff is super-friendly and it's an easy stop right on Rt 230 in Mount Joy. Give them a try. I'm certain you won't be disappointed.

We stopped there for breakfast. My wife had a western omelet and I had the old reliable eggs, home fries, toast and sausage. Food was excellent and fairly priced. The waitress was very nice and came to check on us a few times to see how we were doing. We would go back again when in the area!

It's one of my favorite places to eat. Nice selection of food, very good, and plenty of it, meaning large portions. Prices are reasonable, too. Everyone is friendly and sociable, and the atmosphere fits everyone's impression of a family restaurant.

Stopped here early one morning to order takeout. Waitress was very friendly, and food was ready in no time. This reminded me of old style diner cooking which I'm a big fan of.

We used to come here once a week till food quality started to go downhill. Today we wanted to give it another shot for some breakfast, well we made a wrong decision All food came out cold to our table. Pancakes were hard like they had been sitting for sometime, omelet was burned, the wrong toast was brought out, home fries were like uncooked mashed potatoes. Overall, it's just very disappointing. Our hostess & waitress were nice & attentive. No box needed, we just left the food on the table & paid the bill.

Good food served quickly and from friendly people. I won’t hesitate to come back. You should stop and try it!

Walked in and was greeted by a huge smile and very pleasant hostess. Ask for a booth and was seated right away. I ordered the pizza omlette and it was not available, my husband got 3 pancakes. They were not a great as I remembered, and the bottom one was burned. Waitress was efficient and pleasant.

Good home cooking. Good service. Friendly atmosphere and handicapped accessible. Doesn't get better than this.

Stopped in for a quick lunch. The place was okay, much what you'd expect from a diner.
