I was impressed by all of Mountain Laurel Catering’s options at first. However, after booking with them, it was really difficult to communicate. To schedule a tasting, I had to continuously follow up and it felt like I was causing an imposition. Between the tasting and a week before my wedding (several months) I did not get any follow up with the company at all. When trying to set my menu, I was sent incomplete and incorrect revisions and it was extremely stressful to not have a correct final menu right before my wedding day.
The day of my wedding, multiple food items were great but multiple items were not as expected. I specifically ordered a dessert package with a 2-tier wedding cake plus a sheet cake to cut and serve. I was delivered a tiny single tier round cake and no cake to serve my guests. Several months later, I am still so disappointed that due to their horrible communication and their disorganization, I did not have a wedding cake at my reception.
I also specified a VIP table that was to have their food served first, where my parents were seated. My mother’s dinner was already cold when it was served to her.
After communicating our disappointments to MLC after our wedding, they were unable to remedy the situation. I would not recommend working with them, and I highly recommend seeking other catering recommendations.

Mountain Laurel catering is no joke. They’re amazing, honest, and great cooks. When my (now) wife and I were contacting vendors for our wedding, we knew food was a major thing not to gamble on! We looked at a few places, and Mountain Laurel came out on top. The private tasting was fantastic, only 1 of the like 15 things we tried (risotto balls) wasn’t “amazing” - but everything else was. So they immediately said “yeah, they aren’t our best, but our crowd favorite for vegan options is the butternut squash shooters. ” And let me tell you, they were right! The day of, the food was incredible. Everyone raved about the apps, and they made sure my wife and I had a sampling of everything, and they made sure our other vendors were fed. They really did a fine job and we are beyond appreciative that they helped make our special day that much more special!

Mountain Laurel Catering has so many great and interesting options to choose from! My husband is from Trinidad, and their team worked with us to incorporate food from his culture. So many of our guests said it was the best food they've had at a wedding. Thank you!

Hands down the BEST catering company in the area. From day one, working with Ally was nothing short of amazing. My now Husband, and I went in for a private taste testing and instantly connected with Ally. When we started talking about our food preferences, we said we wanted a menu that was "warm, hearty, and full of holiday spices" for our November fall wedding. They customized a menu for us that was SPOT ON with our vision. Leading up to the wedding, their new portal made it very easy to pick and choose what we were looking for from glassware, to linens, and submitting final details. The day of the wedding - the staff was SUPER professional and so organized. As the Bride and Groom, they treated us like royalty! We felt so special. They made sure to bring us and the bridal party hors d'oeuvres as we did the formal photos after the ceremony. That was a really great touch so we didn't miss out. Then during the reception they delivered our signature drinks to us and constantly kept checking in to make sure we were OK and if we needed anything! Everyone RAVED about the food! Even a week after the wedding, we are still getting comments from friends and family about how good the food was and the best bacon wrapped scallops they have ever had! Also their tomato soup, is the best I have ever had! Highly HIGHLYYY recommend Mountain Laurel Catering! Best in the business!

If you are looking for wedding food that isn't just bland wedding food, search no more! The food was AMAZING! My guest cannot stop talking about it from cocktail hour, to main course, to dessert, to late night snacks! They helped us create fun signature drinks and the bar tenders were so nice. The star of the experience would be working with Ally. She was truly amazing to work with and so so nice! Anything we wanted they could accommodate with out any hassle and she made the experience so enjoyable!

Catered a relatively small corporate function for us. Professional, courteous, and helpful. Top quality food and excellent presentation. From planning to execution, Mountain Laurel made it easy and we couldn't be happier with the results.

On the day of our event I literally had nothing to do. They took care of everything. It made the day stress free and enjoyable. We were able to focus on having fun with our guests. If you’re planning a wedding in PA, NY, or NJ and need a caterer, RUN — don’t walk — to book Mountain Laurel. Not only is their food absolutely delicious, but their entire team is fantastic.

I cannot say enough good things about our experience with MLC. They were a dream to work with — especially Ally H. Ally worked with my now husband and I to curate a menu throughout the day that was true to who we are — including the ordering and managing of all tabletop rentals. She was/is a rockstar and made something pretty stressful seem very manageable.

Our guests RAVED about the food — and these were/are some very picky New Yorkers. MLC will truly bring your vision to life — whether you need Italian hoagies for a sentimental family moment, a cannoli-inspired dessert, a purple birthday cake for a family member, or a robust list of specialty cocktails. If you book MLC, make sure to include their pierogies at cocktail hour! They’re out of this world.

MLC was the first vendor we booked after reading some rave reviews and they did not disappoint. From the first phone call, to our tasting, to the day-of — they did everything they could to make sure we were heard, and that our wishes — no matter how wild — became reality.

I can't say enough good things about Mountain Laurel Catering. We chose them as the caterer for our wedding and they absolutely knocked it out of the park. They were welcoming, helpful, and thoughtful throughout the entire planning process. Our rep, Ally, was absolutely amazing to work with and so patient with us as we were trying to decide our meal selections and table layouts.

Day of services at the wedding were fantastic. They were attentive and kind, making sure that not only just me and my husband, but all of our guests and VIPs were cared for the entire day. The food was outstanding, and we're still receiving compliments from all of our friends and family. We also used Mountain Laurel for our wedding cake and dessert, and it was delicious!

We loved working with Mountain Laurel Catering for our wedding! From the very beginning, they were always incredibly responsive to all of our questions. We were coordinating a cross-country wedding, so they worked with us to arrange a tasting at a time that worked and responded to all our emails incredibly quickly. No question or comment was too small. When the day itself came, the food was amazing and guests couldn’t stop commenting. They made sure that we were eating and well taken care of, as well as all of our guests. Cannot recommend them highly enough!

Mt. Laurel Catering; catered my wedding on 10/22/22 at Hazelwood Wedding Venue. Mt. Laurel delivered everything I asked for and more. I worked with Jess and highly recommend you work with her as well. Jess handled everything from start to finish and was a star. They also show up with a mobile kitchen and cook all the food fresh. Mountain Laurel Catering is exceptional! My husband and I are still getting complements about the food at our wedding and it was weeks ago! My husband is a foodie and so when looking for a caterer, we wanted to make sure that we did not have the “typical” wedding food. We wanted people to be full and satisfied when hitting the dance floor. Mountain Laurel knew exactly how to do that. All of our guests were amazed with the different entree options that they had - the Short Ribs are still being talked about in households up and down the east coast. Everyone tells you to remember to eat on your wedding day and Mountain Laurel made sure of that! They brought us our own separate tray of hors d'oeuvres that we ate before meeting our guests in cocktail hour. When it came to dinner, they made sure that we had our meals first and kept checking in on us to make sure we were well fed. We are so grateful and happy that mountain laurel was apart of our special day! Jess Moser was amazing through the whole process from start to finish and made sure our vision came true!

Mountain Laurel Catering did an absolutely incredible job at our wedding. The food was absolutely delicious, and all of our guests couldn't stop raving about it. We had a great tasting with them beforehand, where they were very attentive to our needs and preferences. They did a great job of making sure that the menu overall reflected our story. The presentation of the food at the wedding was beautiful, and the service was top notch. We were blown away by how attentive the staff was to us and our guests throughout the evening, as well as their ability to cater towards multiple different dietary restrictions. Mountain Laurel Catering is the BEST! We loved working with Jess to plan our wedding menu. She was easy to work with and answered all of our questions! The staff was so great and attentive the day of. They made sure that we didn’t miss out on any of the amazing food. They even delivered us a plate of the cocktail hour hors d'oeuvres while we were taking pictures. The food was incredible! Our wedding was about a month ago and guests still tell us how much they loved all of the food at our wedding. We are so thankful for everything they did to make our day amazing, and we can’t recommend them enough!

Mountain Laurel Catering was the absolute best! The Dream Team - from the initial consultation, flavorful suggestions, tastings, pivoting with head counts and dietary needs - to the day of execution. Jess M headed up an amazing team - from the cocktails through to fine dining topped off by wonderful desserts - Perfection! Appetizers & Entrees were artful, plentiful and most importantly delicious. Servers were unbelievable at accommodating 250 guests with grace. MLC made a very special wedding reception- remarkable. Friends and family raved. Would highly recommend!
