Mountain Laurel Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center reviews
4Great Staff! Very friendly! The nursing and rehab department is wonderful with the patients. There is always something for the residents to do. There is continuous socialization and activities is always doing something fun and new.
Nobody answers the phone here. I get routed to the desk I wish to speak to and I'm on hold until I give up. I've also been disconnected several times.
Update 4/1/23
I called 3 times this evening. The first time I was on holding for 10 minutes, 5 min the 2nd time, then another 5 min the third attemt. It seems my concerns from 3 years ago were not taken into consideration when they were passed to mgmt.
I was here for short term for rehab (18 days) I was very pleased with the rehab and nursing care. I have gotten my legs stronger to hopefully not keep falling at home. I gave this home a 5 star on my complete stay. I would recommend staying here for rehab.
My experience is too long to post. But my father's care is awful. From his medical needs being ignored to the staff ignoring family and messages. They have some great nurses but some act as though it's a burden to help your family member. He's been sent to e.r without family contacted. He has his conversation with family listened to by staff, invasion of privacy. I've filled out multiple complaints but nothing. He's called me upset that the nurses were rough with him yelled at him. I got the excuse from a nurse it's because they're overworked understaffed. I don't care! That's not an excuse. His Dr never contacts family and never seems to have any diagnosis for anything. I've been told when I call about certain matters that they'll be addressed and I'll get a call back, I never do. I've watched nurses roll their eyes after walking away from patients and even heard them talking about residents at the desk like it's a joke. These are someone's family show some respect!
