Movie Tavern Collegeville

This movie theatre is very special to me and I would think a lot of people. My husband and I saw our first movie here, in 2007 I am Legend. We even named our dog Samantha ️ we will go see a movie every month or two as we always do. We love you Movie Tavern. The food is delicious btw. Everyone working are super friendly. Descent prices too. Yes go to the movies. Here you won’t regret it. Bring your slippers? And blankie and recline and enjoy. They have love seats they’re cute but to close to the screen for us. Nice for couples though ️️️

Was at an Amazon Prime premier on Wednesday, March 1,2023. Waited 2 hours for my dinner which never came. Then had to wait 25 minutes to make sure my credit card was not charged. When I left, there were 25 people in line waiting to get their credit card receipt. Terrible management. There was not enough help in any area. The people working there were doing a great job despite horrible conditions.

The service was really good the seats were comfortable. This is a good place to see a movie

My first trip to the movies in more than two years did not disappoint. Although the selection is somewhat lower than it formerly was, everything is still good and fresh. Although they recline fantastically, the seats are also very cosy.

Good theatres. Comfortable seating. Ordered food online before the movie but it showed up later than the food that people ordered in the theater. Next time I won't bother. The food delivery is distracting during the movie. Projection quality and sound are both solid.

Truly loved my movie and the young lady taking our order and how quick we got our food was truly mind-boggling it was very fast she took our order and it wasn't even 5 to 7 minutes later an two amazing Burger very delicious fries at a large soda was right there still very hot it was my first time there in my 10 years living in the area but they definitely will have a customer for life

I like the location Would be nice on Tuesdays if you had children's movies around 5 -530so you could bring your children Due to the fact that some of them aren't getting home until 430 ish From school Something for the children to look forward to

I came with my son to see the new Avatar movie. Or waiter was super friendly, super attentive, the theater was really cool. The seats, the atmosphere, the sound. It was the big 3D screen. The person at the counter was working by herself, which was a shame because they were pretty crowded. But she kept it moving, she kept her cool, and she was very friendly. I also heard they have Tuesday night specials which I want to check out.

I love the Movie Tavern, and if it was closer I would go more often but collegeville and Exton are equal distance so I came to collegeville. It’s been some time since I last been to this location. Still very clean, comfy seats Only thing I was unsure of was food service The guy behind the ticket counter handed me a menu (which normally always did) and then after going through all the previews and movie starting, no server ever came in (even pushing the button just Incase that was how you did it). I went outside of the theater to see and server was walking by and said she would be right in (she might of been the only one working). She came right in and came only to me (since movie stated already I didn’t have the chance to ask her is this the way it’s done from now on). If this is new way of serving food, I am actually ok with it just would of been good to know. This theater beats out any AMC location and surpasses Regal Oaks down the street in which I heard they were closing but still looks to be open ‍️. I wish we had a movie tavern here in Delco! If so I would be there more often. But this is a great location and theater overall!

The theater was hot and the food was not great. The waiter was not attentive to needs at all. I never had a bad experience here. But this was one.

Great experience. Decent food, fabulous seats, full recliners. Prices are reasonable and you can have adult beverages even in the morning during a kids movie, so the little ones can watch a family flick and you can have a bloody Mary. Love this place. It's clean, staff are nice and helpful. Highly recommend!

Always a great experience! Relaxing atmosphere.
They have stopped walking in to take food orders. I actually prefer this. Orders are taken through the app for a time you choose. This greatly reduces the walking back and forth, talking/whispering during a movie. Immaculate theaters and restrooms.

Would not order the food again due to high prices, mistakes for food order several times, and quality, but the movie was good!

I absolutely love this theater & everything around it. You can stroll around, shop, & find different places to sit & eat before your movie.

Four stars because the chairs are SOOOO comfy. If it wasn’t for the seating I’d have to give 3 stars. The time of takes to receive your food, or even have a server take your order varies greatly. 45 minutes is too long to wait for your food to arrive. Maybe more training could fix this issue.
