Movie Tavern Flourtown reviews
22I enjoyed both of the times I have been here. I enjoyed the food (there was many options like a restaurant), the seating was very comfortable, the interior of the theater is very nice, and the waiters are very polite.
Is this location temporarily closed? I have the little black voucher slips for compensation d/t a bad experience at the theater. I havent had a chance to use them, especially with covid taking place - will they still be honored once you open again? !
I absolutely like their dishes and service, awesome location right next to my home. The employees are always super friendly. Highly recommended.
Take your order at the bar. Only a quarter the theater is used and seats are more than 6ft apart.
My $6.00 Pepsi was 70 % Ice. Maybe 1/3rd soda. I brought to Management Attention. And she offered me Nothing. I attend about 40 Movies a Year Every Sunday. I'm looking for a New Theatre Now!
The movies are back! And the place to have best movie going experience is: . You guessed it: the Movie Tavern right here at Flourtown! Nice atmosphere and they keep it CDC regulated sanitized and clean. And on Tuesdays, it’s only 5 dollars! So even in these hard financial times, it’s economically feasible to do. And did i mention that the Pizza and Nachos are great? ! The only negative about this place is that you have to watch the size Popcorn you order because the servings are entirely too big. So any size other than large and you’ll be taking popcorn home with you!
We had a private party/movie screening for our child’s birthday. The staff was very professional and courteous. They kept checking in on us to make sure our experience was great. To my surprise the food was really good. I had a bacon burger and it was really tasty. I would definitely book another event here. This Flourtown location is really exceptional.
I love this movie theater, I saw War with Grandpa. Shout out to Jessica, the best manager there
Worst experience of my life, we went there on Valentine’s Day, ordered some food and never got anything.the movie lasted 2 hrs.apparently the staffs never processed any of the orders for the whole theater that night.but we did get a refund.wish I could give Them zero star.never again
Every time we go to this location, the service is horrible.we received our food 20 minutes before our movie was over and received no apologies or anything.the majority of our row had to get their food refunded because it never arrived, and even though they check tickets at the door, we were asked to see our tickets in the middle of the movie.absolutely ridiculous.we will not be returning here.
Great spot to watch a movie eat and drink. Ask for their beer mug special with unlimited refills
This place is going downhill fast on their set ice and food. I stopped ordering food.just go to see the movie. BEST SEATS EVER!
Ugh. We waited 25 minutes to even be seen by a server- only received service because I had to get up twice and ask. Food was greasy and gross. Our first and last time here.
Went in the morning, was an enjoyable experience. Plus, great deals on movie and snacks on Tuesday's.
Dinner and a flick here is.alright.everything is up to standard and like a normal Movie Tavern. But thats the thing. Its so basic. 4 stars for not having many new things.
Horrible first experience they handed me the wrong drink. We never received our meal (the whole theatre) actually. The waiter was horrible he didn’t even care.
I would rate the food.but I never got it. My family and I pressed the buttons for the servers but no one came. We figures they were delayed but it got halfway through the movie and no one came still. So we pressed it again but still nothing. We watched as others received their food. They gave us free popcorn coupons but if we just wanted popcorn we would've gone to any other movie theater. It was a very disappointing and baffling experience. The movie was great though!
The Movie Tavern experience is a great idea.spacious reclining lounge chairs, and food service made to order. Alcoholic beverages too. But the Flourtown location lacks compared to the 2 other MT in the area. Sometimes the wait time for your food to arrive is ridiculously long.the menu has been drastically reduced, compared to the other 2 locations, and the theaters are not always properly cleaned between showtimes. Don't know if it's a staffing issue or a lack in management, but they could definitely do better.
I was expecting so much more. From what I heard, you could get actual meals here. The website was confusing and we couldn't determine before going what was going to be available at this location. In addition to regular concession food, the only additional options were pizza and alcohol. A bucket of popcorn was $10, which is simply inexcusable. No one in the theater finished theirs. It was so salty it made your mouth hurt. There is no option to go to a concession stand, you MUST pay the exaggerated prices to have it brought to you. The theater itself was nice and the sound fine. It was distracting to have the wait staff milling about throughout the film and standing by the stairs talking amongst themselves.
Worse service ever.never again.lost a customer that could give more business.not even a apologize we want our money back.
