Why would I give a 5 start rating? Been waiting over 5 weeks for a quote. Don't even bother calling.

I was very clear that I wanted an estimate before agreeing to any service. I was told they could not give me any estimate on the phone. Moyers total Indoor Comfort said they would have to come out, give me a price and then could do the work right then. I had several estimates already in hand. Waiting for this last one. A very nice gentleman named Zach came over, on time, checked everything out and had his boss get a quote for me. Extremely high so I let him know I was declining service. Then he tells me his boss is charging a $60 fee just to come out to the house. I was not made aware of this "fee" at any time. If I was notified that there was a fee just to come out and give an estimate I would have NEVER made the appointment. I already had four other companies come out and take a look and I was not charged a dime. I even called their office and explained that I was not told about this charge and should not have to pay $60. They told me it was a dispatch fee. I had to pay it. BEWARE: Watch out for this Shady company. They will force you to pay undisclosed fees. Also, VERY important to note, that on top of the 60 fee just to come around the block and take a look, Moyer total Indoor Comfort was the HIGHEST priced quote I received from anyone that has been out to look. The only reason I'm giving it two stars is because of the friendly worker who came out to my house.

We use Moyer Total Indoor Comfort for multiple properties (some built from the mid 1700s) and have never been disappointed. Steve and his team of professionals have always listened to our concerns (even when I didn't fully understand what I was describing). I highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a reputable plumber/HVAC contractor. You will not be disappointed they provide fast and friendly service.

They are prompt in arriving on time They were dependable reliable professional phenomenal service company They came out the same day to check my ac and gave me an estimate for my air conditioner to be replaced and also checked my plumbing they were beyond phenomena They were very knowledgeable in all aspects of every question that I ask I would recommend them to anyone Also excellent pricing will use again 100%

My old HVAC was 23 years old and clearly on it's way out. I contacted 3 local HVAC companies. The first one did not call me back, the second one showed up 4 hours late and quoted me for a 5 ton AC. Moyer showed up on time and explained to me the venting system in the house was designed for a 3 ton AC. He stated anything larger would cause condensation and ultimately more humidity in the house. He supplied me with 3 quotes. I did some research online and found that in fact the venting system would cause back pressure if the system was too large. He also explained how a multi-stage HVAC would be the way to go. It would be the most effect because the air handler fan and the compressor fans would work at the speed needed. The three quotes were a single stage basic HVAC, a dual-stage HVAC and a variable stage HVAC. All three were Lennox brand. From what I read Lennox is one of the best. I went with the dual-stage. From the initial contact with Moyer, to installation and now to the operation, Moyer did a fantastic job. All the employees were friendly, neat, clean and very knowledgeable. If you are looking for quality equipment, quality service and a great company to do your HVAC service, Moyer Total Indoor Comfort exceeded all my expectations. Not to mention I don't even hear the unit running; it's so quiet.

House is old, we are messy, and with quarantine had to be in house which was annoying.

CONS
Left unfilled pilot holes in middle of living room (no where near our mess), large gaps in diffusers, tech went through ceiling said would patch what diffuser didn't cover. (Need yo repaint so minor patch was have been ok) Plumbing rework has a leak. No instruction given for operation brine tank 8 weeks 3 months? Said was ok with one room not being added due to issues (old house) the run was put in severely impacting resale according to appraiser. Trash was left in closets and outside. I signed off so techs could hurry to next job thinking one was staying to clean trash ect, my bad. One tech late every day could have easily made up those hours needed for a quality job. One hole was from above down with caulking put in it so have a nice mini volcano n the one hole they did fill. I am honestly afraid to look at outside and see if holes were drilled and filled or just drilled.

PROS
The unit works great, (9 degree temp difference between floors so we will see energy usage). The plumbing looks amazing hot water faster with seriously increased volume. The plumbing guy helped guy my old ac units out (have a bad back) so that was killer. The main guy didn't mess around jammed work, on time stayed late to make sure work was going. Very professional upfront and quick easy consultation. Steven knew the products and answered a ton of questions.

UPDATE: The party who caused delay is no longer around. Rep came and provided key and fixed any issues. The unit failed in the ice storm with an error. They came right out and fixed unit. Within a couple hours my kids complained they were sweating.

Standing by product and responsiveness has made me upgrade my review and would absolutly encourage others to use the service

BEWARE
Although their technicians are knowledgeable their billing is unfair. I needed a new defrost board for my heat pump, which they installed in 2013. I was quoted $488.00 for the board and the installation. I decided to get other quotes. Boy am I glad I did. One of the quotes I got was $252.00. The part itself was $102.00 and labor was $75.00 per hour. We estimated 2 hours of labor. I then called Moyer‘a back to ask how they justified the cost of their service. The office staff could not tell me the cost of the part or an hourly rate. They stated they charge a flat fee. I had the defrost board installed today by a reputable company in my area. The total cost 177.25. That was the part and one hour labor. How can they justify their charges? I know everyone needs to make money but that is taking advantage of your customers.

Had a water softener installed furnace service and water system inspection. Joe Dustin and Gary did a great job. No problems everything works great. Will definitely use them for future needs.

Joe did our Water Heater install. Great job, very thorough, dealt with many issues that are the result of my having a very 100+ year old building. Cleaned up after, and we have hot water again. Thanks!

Joe was great, had to hire a plumber to clean up the mess that the borough created installing the new water meter. He was thorough and very polite and courteous to our needs. That's all I have to say

Joe came out to replace the black light for our water system. Excellent job. All working great! Thank Joe!

Joe did an amazing job changing out our kitchen faucet with one that we had previously bought. He explained everything in detail and was willing to answer all of our questions. We had a very positive experience.

Brian and Joe were great! They worked so hard to get my plumbing situation under control and to clean my furnace. They were in the cold and they had to go back to the shop quite a few times for more machines but they got my toilets to work again. Also they let me know throughout the whole process what they needed to do and approximate cost which I appreciated.

Just had a furnace installed by Moyer's and they did an amazing job. Brian, Brandon, and Joe were great. Brian was here each day until it was finished to perfection & stayed to make sure it was done correctly. Jerry followed up with me each day to make sure everything was going ok and keep me updated and even contacted Countryside (the fuel provider) to make sure they were coming when they said they were. It was overall a great experience. So glad I chose them to put in my new AC/furnace and heat pump! Moyers made such a horrible experience, a great one for our family.we don't have to deal with the oil smell any longer in our house and our house is safer now. Thank you so much Brian, Jerry, Brandon, and Joe!
