Mr D's Driving School, Peckville PA

I took 6 lessons from Mr. D's Driving School beginning in late February and highly do not recommended going to this school. The recent lesson with the instructor was teaching me about parallel parking for the first time. He has no patience and is quick to raise his voice during and after each lesson with comments like "I'm losing my patience here", "you'll never pass your driving test", and "you're not even trying" to name a few. He will complain about your progress even if you're a beginner, but instead of accommodating his teaching method to help you, he will continue to instead make demeaning comments then blame you for losing focus. While I'm no where near a proficient driver yet, Mr. D's Driving School will make you lose confidence rather than gain it as a driver.

When you first make a call when they first answer the attitude is terrible! When they actually pick you up for appointment they count the time they pick you up apart of the 1 hour so only had 35 mins to drive really being that I was a beginner. Called to make another app and when he came to pick me up I was running late because my period came. WASNT understanding and I canceled appointment. Don’t recommend. Tempesta Driving school was the next one I tried and I felt not only comfortable but also felt my money was spent well. Still was $50

I took lessons from Mr. D in my teens, and even at 40, with over 20 years of driving experience I still hear his voice, clear as day, in the back of my mind. When a friend recently asked for recommendations for driving instruction, I was quick to recommend Mr. D, although I wasn't sure if he was still teaching. When I looked him up, I was very pleased to see he was still in business and offering lessons, and as long as he is teaching, I will recommend him. God bless Mr. D!
