Mt Airy Deli & Mini Market, Philadelphia PA

Owner is very rude! She got upset because I kindly asked her if they can make my potatos thicker and not thin and burnt like potatoes chips as my previous order. She became very unprofessional instantly! And told me no they can’t make them thicker.no sympathy or apology for the previous order… so I asked her to cancel my order and she hung up on me…This place has horrible customer service and the owner is VERY nasty and a poor representation as a business woman! This place will never get my recommendation

I NEVER GOT A CHANCE TO PLACE MY ORDER THE CASHIER WAS EXTREMELY RUDE! I WILL NEVERRRRRR GO BACK AGAIN # IF U DON'T LIKE UR JOB GET A NEW ONE! PERIODT.

Food is dry and unseasoned. Added shrimp to my food and they literally gave me one. My roll was hard as hell Fries were so soggy and they charged me extra for an item that came on the speciality sandwich. When I asked the man at the register with the glasses and sweaty shirt he argued with me and told me it’s not his fault they don’t have a button for “bacon” he told me he then proceeded to yell after I told him I can hear him fine the owner did nothing to get stop his behavior then he proceeded to talk about me personally i left before i snapped back he wasn’t worth it. The food isn’t even good enough anymore to be treated nasty. Nasty food nasty service. Food chasers is way better plus they are so nice if they were open I would have happily went there instead

Food is good just extremely overpriced. $5 for a small fry is quite absurd. Also I asked for a cranberry ginger ale and got a regular one. Not a big deal but again, for the price point it would be nice to get what I paid for.

Food was never received. This is my second bad experience with this establishment, there will not be a third.

Only my second time here and this time it's for brkfst. I ordered my lady a pancake platter with turkey sausage and potatoes. Wait is long but the food is worthy! Everyone else seems to order ahead.

Used their online group order which was fantastic for our event - you text a link to each person ordering and it all goes to one order. We did have one error with the wrong item sent but they made it right for us and even dropped it off to us. Sandwiches are packed with ingredients. Salads are generous and fresh. Will continue to order hoagies from Mt Airy Deli! ️

One block delivery took 45 minutes, 20 minutes past the estimated delivery. I've had the food once before and it was okay, but I didn't get a chance to eat my latest order since I had to leave before it arrived. Wouldn't order in a crunch.

I got a chicken salad sandwich today they were under staffed so it took forever. When I finally got my sandwich it was barely any chicken salad on it. This place has gone down hill and it’s sad to see. This is the last and final time coming here my last order was made wrong.

3rd times a charm… I’m a newbie here i have ordered from here 3 consecutive times on door dash and have not been disappointed thus far.

Nice neighborhood sandwich shop. My hot pastrami reuben was delicious, will add to the rotation for future lunch options

First time shopper. Ordered a roast beef hoagie. It. Was. The. BEST! I’m never going anywhere else. Can’t wait to try their cheesesteaks!

Great breakfast selection. The owners are lovely people who have always given excellent customer service whenever I visited. Highly recommend.

If we could give 0 stars I would have given that. We called to place an order for our staff, we were told that that the order for 8ppl was too big as the young man on taking the order on the phone was huffing and puffing. We were told they are a little busy and cant take our order. We will never attempt to order our staff lunch there ever again. And if you have a large order of 5 or more don't even bother to patronize this business.

I added pepper but my food was $25 they could’ve spared more fries disappointed about this.the salmon surf and turf is good. Customer service wasn’t that good.always black owned businesses sorry to say but soo true smh‍️

I just got a salmon cheesesteak from the mount airy deli the owners wife was at the cash register with horrible customer service making me feel like I wasn’t allowed to ask questions about my food that I was paying for.
She was talking to me like I was annoying her because I was asking questions about the food that I’m paying for

I ordered a shrimp ceasar salad for $17 it came with three shrimp. How terrible is that? Nothing special about the salad I’m shocked. That’s basically theft and they should be ashamed of themselves

Another black owned store. I used to think that this was owned by a white person for years, I was wrong. They have been there for 30 years.

The food was ok. Wasn’t great. Ordered the fish and grits over the phone. I asked if it came with anything else. The woman on line rudely said, ” fish and grits! ”. When i looked at the online menu again i called back and asked if it came with eggs. She said.rudely again. ” if you want eggs! ”. I don’t even eat eggs but if I’m paying for them i want them. Then i asked to have them scrambled and i got an omelette. Then lady in store tells my daughter, ” he parked on the curb I’ll let it slide this time but tell him not to do it again “. I certainly won’t do it again because I’m never returning. We are in Philadelphia, i park where tf i want to park as long as it’s not on your doorstep. The customer service here is trash, i can’t stand sassy- lipped vendors acting like they’re doing you a favor to let you spend your hard earned money at their establishment. I see why there are so many 1 star reviews. AND my daughter said her sandwich even wasn’t that good. The nerve!

Honestly the best fried shrimp I have had in my life! I don't usually leave reviews but this was amazing, they were very friendly also. Can't wait to order again.
