Mt Airy Pediatrics PC, Philadelphia PA

This is an excellent place. My kids have been coming here since birth, they are now 9 and 11, and I have no complaints. They have always been very caring and patient, especially with my daughter who has autism. It is super easy to make same day sick appointments, and its easy to make appointments in general. I could not say enough good things about this place, its just a great place all around.

Mt Airy Pediatrics is a very friendly family Oriented environment and they really attend to your needs and are very professional! They really are concerned about your children and the Family so thank you for being wonderful?

This practice takes an active interest in the lives and interest of their clients. My child always felt comfortable and cared for here.

I would not recommend going here if you care about your children’s health and well being. They are very unorganized and consistently lost my child’s medical records. Jennifer the office manager is extremely disrespectful to black parents in particular. I have had many interactions with her and none have been pleasant. I can assure you this is not the way she speaks to white parents. The appointments are less than 10 minutes and no real care or assistance is given. If you have concerns they will not be heard here. You will be gaslight and your child will suffer. Please advocate for your child and send them elsewhere.

I had my kids at this doctors office for two years. We were late for the first time, Raoul was super aggressive! Coming all they way from behind his desk and I am a female! Yelling she wont see you, she is with someone else! They are right off of Germantown Ave which is super busy at 2: 00pm. Nobody else was in the office, its a small location. This was my worse experience at a CHILDREN'S DOCTOR OFFICE.

We’ve been bringing our children to Mt Airy Pediatrics for almost 17 yrs now. The care is excellent; the staff is friendly, personable and professional. Everyone is very helpful and respectful of both me and my kids. They listen to us and they are willing to take the time to explain symptoms/treatment/procedures so we can make informed choices about our children’s care. Absolutely happy with the care they have received.

We've taken our kids here for over 3 years now and we've received excellent care and support. The reception and scheduling staff has always been helpful and greeted us cheerfully. I feel like they remember and recognize our family which is nice, to feel like there's a personal connection. The nurses who do vitals have always been friendly and respectful of my children, even when my children are a little hesitant or shy. We see Victoria and she's simply the best! She's always excited to see my kids and celebrate their growth, and she excels at meeting them where they're at. She gets on their level, makes sure they are comfortable and know what to expect from her exam. She allows them to explore her instruments and tools and I've never felt like she rushed through an appointment! She always fields our questions with care and thoroughness. We've never had an issue with scheduling our regular well visits, and we've even been able to come in easily for same-day sick visits or vaccine-only appointments for our flu shots, etc. I cannot recommend this practice more for local families!

Overall an excellent practice. I have been bringing my children here for 2.5 years now. Staff has been consistently helpful. Even when Covid guidelines were changing and causing confusion. They did their best to be accomdating. Also, the staff takes their time to answer my questions! It's easy to get through on the phone. And they call back.overall excellent.

My partner and I were overwhelmed by the need to make a selection for a Pediatrician for our newborn son. Thankfully, a family friend recommended Mt. Airy Pediatrics. There are several reasons why we have been extremely pleased with the care our son has received thus far:

1. Convenient parking and clean facilities
2. Electronic system (scheduling/billing/check-ins/medical history/etc)
3. Availability-planned and emergency, it's been easy to reach the staff, our doctor, and to schedule appointments
4. Medical knowledge
5. Friendliness of Staff and Doctors-everyone we have encountered at the office is very warm. Our son's doctor, Dr. John, gives thorough explanations for his care and recommendations; listens to our concerns (we've had a couple scares) ; and reassures, advises us without rush or condescension. He is gentle in his assessments and handling of our son.
6. Little wait time
I would highly recommend Mt. Airy Pediatrics, especially Dr. John!

Susan knows how to talk to your kid and build trust, whatever age they are. She is practical and funny and wise. The practice is friendly and courteous, and I feel happy going here.

Had tested positive for COVID-19 and was wondering if my son had to cancel his appt. Also was seeking guidance about what to do for my son since he was exposed. CuStomer service or receptionist (it was male) who answered the phone was very sarcastic and unhelpful. I have two children who attends this clinic. I have not received one phone call about either of my children’s well-being since the exposure. Kind of expected more from a place I’ve been going to for 6 yrs. **The treatment I received from the male receptionist is not a reflection of the excellent and quality care my family receives from our pediatrician/NP-Victoria**She is definitely one of the gems at the clinic

We love Mt. Airy pedaitrics. They always answer the phone and the front desk staff are so kind and helpful. Our kids see Nurse Victoria. We never feel rushed and I always feel welcome to ask as many questions as I want. We highly recommend Mt. Airy pedaitrics:)

Been going here for 15 years and trust them with our kids. They’re good folk who really strive to know each of our kids as they address our concerns personably and professionally.

We scheduled a meeting with the pediatrician a week ago. We took the day off work to come here, and arrived on time. Paid $20 at the front desk for the meeting then waited 15 in the reception area. Then we waited in the doctor office.and waited.and waited.

We could hear the pediatrician at the end of the hall joking around and making small talk with other staff. After another 30min of waiting to decided not to waste anymore time and left. 15min we got a call saying the pediatrician was finally ready and they couldn't find us in the office.

This was a huge waste of time and a waste of money. The front desk and nurse were friendly, but we don't know how the doctors are. Seeing how little they seem to care about patients, I am not filled with confidence. I'd recommend looking elsewhere for a pediatrician or better yet a find a family doctor who treats children.

I’ve been bringing my child since she was born and have had a great experience. The staff is sweet and helpful. They are also quick to answer calls/ return phone calls to answer questions. The new office is bright and clean.

I love the staff and doctors. They have taken care of all my children and now, my grandchildren

The whole team and staff are phenomenal. I went here growing up, and now so do my children. I travel a distance, but it’s worth the care.

I LOVE this practice! I have had two virtual visits with them since this pandemic. Both visits were extremely helpful and my girls were able to receive the proper care! Thank You!

A great practice. They always take their time with appointments. Everything is thoroughly explained and the providers take time to answer questions. The providers keep up with current research and incorporate that into the appointment conversation. The reception staff are very nice and always pleasant and helpful over the phone. Also, we can always get a sick visit on the same day as needed.
