8We'd been there before and the ice cream was great. We stopped this time for lunch and they said they weren't serving so we had to go somewhere else. We will stop back for ice cream later.
The ice cream was good for the price but the service was slow and came out at different times so all of our family members ate ice cream separately bc of how long it took each one of us to get ours and we didn't get to enjoy it together. I wouldn't stop again.
If you love ice cream and LOTS of it, this is the place for you. I made the mistake of ordering a medium (3 scoops) with a waffle cone, and it looked like they put a half gallon of ice cream on it. It was amazing, even though I couldn't finish it.
The ice cream was good but had to wait well over a half hour to get it.
There was only one person working
Great icecream and service! They were not serving food when we were there, but we only wanted icecream anyway.
Basically what everyone else said, extremely generous portions and very reasonable prices. Perry's brand ice cream with over a dozen flavors. Every ice cream stand should strive for this level.
This restaurant is a quaint roadside stop that serves ice cream and burgers. It's a popular stop for travelers and locals alike and a busy one at that.
I don't pick on restaurants for being busy. I pick on them for being understaffed, which it is. As 20+ people lined up for their order to be taken, the two poor individuals working there frantically prepare food and ice cream as wait times get longer and longer. 2/5 for service and not due to the employees
Aside from that. The prices are fair/high. The portions are smaller and the food is about what you'd expect, about 4/5
All in all, I'd stop in if you find a time where it isn't busy. If not, there's plenty of diners to get a decent bite to eat.
My husband and I stopped for a sundae and it was the worst one I've ever had! After a 30 minute wait (service was ridiculously slow), we ordered sundaes and received ice cream with candy on it. No syrup, no whipped cream. The definition of a sundae clearly indicates the word syrup! I will not be stopping here again!
