Muddy Run Information Center reviews
16Nice staff. Very informative presentation on how electrical generation on the lower Susquehanna evolved over the years.
Lots to do for every age just added a water park, Native American pie wow each year, boating, fishing, beautiful nature.
Would definitely recommend this place to anyone with or without an interest in astronomy. The observatory is absolutely amazing and the pictures they take of the milky ways and stuff is incredible, definitely will be going there again. If you can’t make it to one of there monthly events you can always check out the visitor center with the universe hall and all the other interesting things in there. Great educational place for children!
Muddy Run is a fun place for any member of your family. The Splash Pad really added a bonus this year.
Beautiful place. Camping, boating, fishing, walking trails, frisbee golf and snack shop. Plenty to do and very clean
Very clean, offer various activities during the spring, summer and fall for the kids. Great sledding hill in the winter. Pavilions you can reserve for parties. 2 hour hiking path. Fishing.
Great place to fish. Fist catch was a 5lb 5oz largemouth bass! Great way to start. See what happens in the coming months!
Went there for picnic very quiet very peaceful. There was a lot of people walking around enjoying the beautiful day we walked over to where they launch the boats sat there another peaceful day. Went up to the snack bar got a hot fudge sundae very very good. I would recommend Anyone to go there and enjoy would I go back again yes
Multiple play areas, water ways and paddle boats, food shack is clean and serves awesome ice cream: large portions. Handicap accessible from ample parking. Fishing and boating areas handicap accessible.
Great park for trails and canoeing. Wish the info center had better maps of the trails, camping, etc. Kind of hand drawn and vague.
Very nice area to come for the day by yourself or with your family, spend a day fishing, can rent a boat for the lake or bring your own, can walk around for a day hike, can bring the family camping, bring kids here to feed the ducks but please only feed approved feed because a few ducks do suffer from the disease n are deformed from eating too much bread and that is sad. There are picnic tables by the lake also, a snack bar where you can buy a drink or a snack.
We love muddy run. Beautiful place, nice snack bar, nice playsets and good fishing (on rented boats).
Stayed thru the open season, great family park with huge lake for fishing, kayaking, boat riding, canoe and camping
Informative interactive learning about the power community and its efforts to keep the outdoors as wild as can be.
Great place for fishing. No snags. Boat rental prices are amazing and very affordable. Only downfall is the paddleboat, kayak, and canoe rentals are only until 4pm, so no evening/midnight romantic rondevous!
Great afternoon here. Yellow blaze hike around lake just shy 3 miles of rocky terrain, little snack shop and boat rental per hour to explore the lake itself.
