Mumma's Appliances reviews
18Bought Brand new stove top and oven. None of the burners would even boil a pan of water on stovetop. After several conversations the owners of Mumma’s appliance store in Cumberland County Pa we’re always rude and made it my problem. I ended up calling GE and after a second tech finally figured out problem and told me my new stove had all bad stovetop switches and am going to have to wait another 2 months for parts. Mumma’s still refused to give me my money back or replace. They told me to boil water in the microwave if I needed it. Don’t buy from them because they don’t care about their customers!
Advised the washer model I needed to work with our existing, stackable dryer. Installed promptly with excellent communication.
Small but mighty. Learned more in 15 minutes about appliances than I had in the previous 25 years. Recommended.
Friendly, personal, and knowledgeable service! After visiting here, didn't even consider big box stores
Great company! I walked in picked out a new refrigerator and it was delivered a few hours later!
Thank you!
So disappointed and so discouraged. I support family owned businesses even when they cost more. This place is making me rethink this.
I purchased dishwasher three years ago (pre pandemic), and as someone has already mentioned in these reviews, we too were beardy greeted and did not receive any assistance during the selection process. However, we needed the washer and decided to proceed with the purchase.
Three years later, the washer started to leaking, caused damage to the kitchen floor and the basement. I contacted Mumma's for help. Two times they promised to have someone come out yet no one ever contacted us. When I showed up in the store to see what is going on, they were unfriendly and clearly showed me how annoyed they were with me. The gentleman that has sold us the washer was sitting in the back and pretending to be focused on work and the lady I talked to could not even apologize for the inconvenience.
We have been dealing this this for over a month now. No follow ups from the store.
Received a quote on a Cafe’ Professional Series 30” Smart Built-In Convection Wall Oven Model#CTS90DP2NS1. The salesman quote was $6000 on that particular unit. I am very supportive of the “Family Business”. What is a consumer to do when the big box store sells the same unit for $3298?
Doesn't sell parts, but did direct us to V&V appliance in Harrisburg that could help us.
Excellent service. Installed my electric stove. Good clean up. Went over the functions of the stove.
Exceptional service and unparalleled after care. You get what you pay for, especially with appliances and Mummas. Loyal customer here.
We bought a washing machine which was installed on Wednesday Aug 25. The service we received from Grace when we purchased it and from Daniel during the install was, as always, 2nd to none. We have been using Mumma's since 1994 when we moved into our house and they are just fantastic. Looking forward to our new stove. Thank you guys!

Very nice experience - helped me w all my options for kitchen remodel. Lead times for appliance rn are very long so its good to have all my options in order to make a timely decision.
Great family business. Always service what they sell and the delivery and installation was top notch. Highly recommend!
Very knowledgeable and helpful. No pressure. Highly recommended by friends. They were correct
My issue with them dates back to when we first moved to the area in 2005. At the showroom we were met with a sheer coldness by the people working there. As I read some of the the reviews here, I see that little has changed. It's a shame because we're in the market for a new fridge, and are willing to pay good money for the right unit. But not only will I not shop at Mumma's, I will make sure to completely AVOID them.
There isn’t enough good I can say! Thank you so much for the great dishwasher, quick response and installation and amazing customer service! I highly recommend! Shop local!
My husband and I came in to the store to purchase specifically a Viking range top and exhaust. Upon arrival, we were the only customers in the store and we were barely greeted. During the selection process, we were provided with very little assistance to help determine which range model would be a good fit for our kitchen remodel and cooking needs. We were not made aware of the Viking "buy one get one free" limited time promotion, which would have been a significant savings for us, until I asked about the promotion to the sales person. The salesperson took his time to look up the promotion information, during which time he took a phone call from another customer that took at least 10 minutes. At no time did he apologize to us for the delay or ask if he call the person back. It wasn't until another salesperson arrived, when the person "helping" us began to acknowledge our questions about the different Viking products and which ones were included in the promotion. Ultimately, he didn't have any pricing information and said his daughter (?) would email my husband. We never received an email and the promotion has most likely ended. We never contacted/followed-up with the store because it felt like the person "helping" us didn't want our business as an African-American couple. We budgeted to spend between 3,500-5,000 on the range and we will gladly spend it at another Viking retailer who wants our business.
Called in to the store in Camp Hill this morning to simply see if the showroom was open or if an appointment was needed. Unfortunately the woman answering our call was short and abrasive. My wife and I figured that must be a reflection of their customer service. It was a terrible first impression. Because of that, we decided to take our business of buying a set of high-end kitchen appliances elsewhere.
