Mural City Cellars reviews
11 Went to a private tasting for my birthday with friends and it was outstanding! They educated us about the wine while keeping it very fun and approachable.
The wine garden is relaxing and spaced out nicely.
This is one of my favorite local businesses in philly!
Not one to hand out 5-star reviews willy-nilly, but this is a lot of fun - DJ and a queer flea market in the wine garden - and the wine is good. We got the Pet Nat Rosato, and it's hitting me right. Great staff, very relaxed vibe. Real return material.
I miss Mural City. We moved out of the neighborhood about 2 years ago and I miss Mural City - not just that I was less than a block away but because the owners are the nicest, most accommodating people that make some killer wine. We joined their CSW the year they opened and never regretted having a good stock of excellent wine to hoard.and share with friends and family if pressed to do so. Definitely spend some time at Mural City, enjoy the wine, and chat with the owners, they're wonderful.
WOW! What an incredible business. I have been to Mural City Cellars two times now and have had an incredible experience each time. Nick and Francesca (owners) are such kind and charming people who take such a deep level of care and time with their guests. Their wine is aromatic and flavorful and the cellar where they host tastings is an intimate and beautiful setting. This is a local business that is innovating and supports its fellow wine makers. I wholeheartedly recommend you buy their products or visit.
It's a cute local concept, the patio is comfortable enough and they had live music, and a food vendor the night I was there but it was $12 for a small glass of wine. Also they only have dry wine which is.limiting.
All the photos show wine presented in glassware. We received plastic cups and I believe it was $30 for two glasses which included an auto grat. Never opposed to gratuity but a smile at least would appreciated. The bottle of wine I wanted was $60 and it was unclear you could drink it there and if I have to pay an auto grat to take a bottle it just doesn't make economic sense. Sorry but we won't be back.
Super cool space - one of the most underrated and under talked about outdoor drinking spaces in the city! They have little food pop ups sometimes too which are really cool
The Prices.
Very nice place, very friendly staff. However, paying $15 ($12 + $3 tax!) really rubbed me the wrong way. It's truly amazing how much that area has changed. A place known for low real estate value has become overpriced and overrated.
If you're adding a 20 percent surcharge, then specify it as a surcharge and not a tax.
Such a treasure for our community, the programming is great for all and the space is lovely. We caught a jazz show here recently and had a great time.
Amazing wine at fair prices! Every wine we’ve tried has been excellent—Emily is a great guide. Service is wonderful, cannot reccommend more for grabbing a bottle or having a glass with friends:)
A shiny pearl on the corner in FishTown. Good wine, food and wait staff. Shout Out to Ms. N for making my stay enjoyable
