5 stars for Bob, he helped me replace the center part of the frame and explained each steps in details. He also did not charge me. What a nice person with excellent skills!

As soon as I walked in, everyone was professional and welcoming from check in at the front desk to glasses fitting with Bob.
Dr. Ghanchi was caring and provided a very thorough examination to check the health of my eyes and address my concerns. I don’t usually write reviews, but it’s worth saying that I had a great experience here which is not always the case at other doctors appointments.

Bob deserves 5 stars. Dr Bianca as well.

But ever since My Eye Dr took over this location it has gone absolutely down hill. Now that Dr Bianca is gone we see no reason to return

Typical of Corp takeovers of small shops the atmosphere and behaviors reak of retail vibes. The amount of money they make off you is more important than focusing on service.

A lot of what I've observed has nothing to do with the people, but the policies in place by their parent company to control their behaviors. I genuinely feel sorry for the staff now.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I had an examine over a year ago. This is now the second call/bill I received with absurd adjustments. I have never dealt with a company that bills adjustments out a year later. I was in the office yesterday to pick up contacts, and there was no mention of additional charges. Heck I received a credit two months ago from them due to the first adjustment being waived back. But now I am getting a call for another $40 dollar adjustment. Just no, not acceptable. I would steer clear and go to another eye dr office.

Update, the team at my eye dr who reached out did help me resolve this issue. It seems that they are going through some billing changes causing headaches for customers and employees. The customer representative who reached out and helped me was extremely understanding and helpful.
Hopefully they will get the billing together and overall would be a better experience.

These comments are shared by my family given their personal experiences. This business has gone downhill since MyEyeDr took over.

1). They now play pricing games by quoting outrageous prices and then when they see your shock, they tell you they can give to deep discounts and then lower the price. We don't need this drama.

2). To quality for a $250 rebate/debit card, we were strongly urged to order a year's supply of contact lenses. We ordered them and applied for the rebate. We waited for two months without any word from the rebate company. After months of waiting and after contacting the eye doctor's office numerous times we finally got our debit card. The office was of little help and seemed to pass it of as "not our problem"

Our family will now switch to another eye care center.

I really appreciate the time spent addressing my eye health concerns at my most recent appointment. Dr. Ghanchi goes above and beyond! The staff was very kind and helpful too.

Best eye exam/contact fitting experience I’ve ever head, thanks to Dr. Ganchi. Will definitely be my primary eye doctor going forward. All other staff members were great as well!

The entire staff were friendly and helpful. Dr Tang was thorough in answering all of my questions which I appreciated. I felt more comfortable here than I have at any other eye doctor that I have been to. Thank you!

We visited in early 2020 for a routine checkup. The exam went well and we had a good experience during that portion of the visit. However, the glasses fitting felt very rushed by the gentleman who was helping us and the out of pocket cost seemed very high for my partner's glasses with the "discounts" he was helping him find since "his insurance" didn't cover very much. We weren't able to see the paperwork until after he had billed us.

After getting home we figured out that he had billed another person with the same name but who had a completely different insurance plan and provider than my partner's (even though we had provided his insurance card and ID when we first arrived for the appointment). They were closed already that day so we called the next day, explained the situation, provided a detailed explanation of what insurance should have been used and were told that they would look into it but that the owner and someone located in another state needed to approve any refund.

After several more calls explaining the same thing to different receptionists spanning a couple months, we finally got a partial refund for what was overcharged (they said multiple times that they would do a refund but kept adding it as an account credit towards future visits). Then we received a new bill in the mail for a contact lens exam that never happened (on the correct insurance this time). That took another month and several more calls to dispute and get refunded.

Mistakes happen sometimes so we can understand that, however we were not impressed with how long and how much persistence it took on our part to correct an issue that should have taken just one call.

The reason for my less than 5 star rating is because I’ve received glasses that I have an extremely hard time reading with. My attempts, both with this provider and with My Eye Doctor Patient Relations, have not provided any resolution to my problem. Because of insurance parameters, I am left to wait another year to get good glasses so that I can again enjoy reading.

My entire family has been going to this location for years now and we enjoy every visit! Dr. Tang is incredible, the front desk staff is always welcoming & on top of their stuff, and a real gem of the office is Bob - he makes every visit fun and is super helpful and knowledgeable! We will continue to come here for years and recommend them to everyone!

I encourage you to take a picture of the glass frame you choose or you may not get it. I didn't get the frame I picked on a very expensive pair of glasses and nobody remembered that they were supposed to be red. I didn't want to make waves but I wanted people to know this so you don't get disappointed when you go to pick up your glasses and don't get what you wanted.

If you are ok with being talked to like a Child then I recommend this establishment.
I arrived for my appointment 4 minutes late and the Woman at the window said " you are late, I will have to see if the Doctor will still take you". I asked why they wouldn't be able to take me and she replied "you are late and your appointment was for 3: 10". I said its 3: 14 and you are making a big deal over 4 minutes so I will leave. I told her I wanted a Doctor to call me to discuss my experience. I left work early for my appointment and should have been at least 10 minutes early but hit unexpected traffic only to be Threatened to possibly lose my appointment. I hope one day she is late for work and she is told she will not be able to work because she is late a few minutes and is sent home without pay.
A few years ago I was on my way to my appointment and someone from the office called me while I was driving before my appointment time asking my location and when I would be there. Let me remind you it wasnt even my appointment time yet and had to take a call while driving. I was actually on time.
These are my own personal experiences. In addition, parking is City Street Meter Parking. Would be nice to have an actual parking lot.
Myself and two Sons will no longer be patronizing this establishment due to lack of Professionalism.

This eye care office is awesome. This was the best eye exam I ever had. The doctor changed my prescriptions and I am thrilled with my new contacts and glasses. The office staff is very competent and friendly. I highly recommend these eye care professionals & I have been seeing an eye doctor for years so I have many other experiences to use as a comparison.
