Got contacts for the first time and they were so helpful. They never gave up or got frustrated when I struggled.

My 97-year-old mother was in need of an eye exam and new glasses. My mother is very well oriented yet she is hard of hearing and walks with a walker quite slowly (she actually pretty amazing considering her age). She was seen by Dr. Sheehan. He was professional and very kind. He spoke slowly and clearly and answered all of her questions. Mom was really happy with Dr. Sheehan! The office staff was friendly and the optician (sorry can't recall her name) was great, too. Mom ordered a new pair of glasses and they were ready in about a week. We got them yesterday. The optician who fit them to her was a man (can't remember his name either) and he was extremely kind and patient.
I HIGHLY recommend My Eye Dr! Life is hard at 97 years of age and everyone at the office was respectful, kind, and professional. I could not have asked for a better experience.

First, I’d like to mention the optometrist that I had during this visit was absolutely phenomenal. He was funny, attentive, and patient. Answered any questions I had. I had a GREAT experience with him. It was the manager I had a problem with. I’ve never dealt with someone as condescending and demeaning in customer service EVER. She acted super annoyed when I had any questions when trying to understand the services I was being provided and the order I was making for my glasses. I’ve been in customer service my entire life and I’ve dealt with my fair share of customers that irked my nerves, but I have always been able to keep my composure and not be completely stuck up and unbothered. She gets 0 stars.

Absolutely phenomenal place! Friendly staff, amazing eye doctors, awesome selection of glasses, everything was just amazing! I can't say this loud enough, they did an amazing job with me! I've seen a lot of eye docs, NONE have ever figured out why the one eye I was seeing blurry but the other not, this doctor figured it out, I got glasses and can SEE for the first time without a blurred vision! So beyond happy! Highly, highly recommend!

Absolutely horrible! Been fighting for 7 months to get them to fix a prescription. Order a set of glasses and they came in wrong nd still havent been fixed. Told them numerous times it is wrong. Been charged an arm and a leg to come back and swindled for expensive pictures of your eye. Front desk is horrible, extremely loud waiting area where you cannot hear the technicians.

Amazing! Dr. Sheehan (sorry if it’s misspelled) did amazing with our five year old and the circus that came with her. The front staff was great, first technician amazing. Truly wonderful people who were oh so patient with my kiddos. I was very thankful from beginning to end.

I ordered a year's supply of contacts and never received them. After many back and forths over the phone with them and the manufacturer, the manager handed me a ziploc baggie with six contacts inside. I hate to leave a negative review, but my issue was never resolved and I gave them plenty of chances. I paid over $200 for a supply of contacts when I could have just ordered them online. Then I get an email asking me to order more contacts. HA! Never again. It's a shame because all the staff was super nice and I loved it there, but this experience has completely burned me.

Use to be the best place to go with excellent doctors. But during a visit in September 2021, the front desk staff humiliated my wife and were extremely rude to her, causing her to walk out right away to look for another clinic. It’s a shame because the doctors are some of the best, we won’t be coming back here.

We had a great experience taking my 3-year-old here for her first eye exam. I’m not sure what these other reviews are talking about bad front desk service. The front desk lady was super friendly, the nurse was kind and helpful with my toddler, the eye doctor was great with her as well. She saw Dr. Bogar. She is a bit farsighted but he wasn’t quick to jump to glasses, as it can be common in toddlers, which I appreciated. It was hard because she’s a toddler but everyone here made it a really pleasant experience. I highly recommend!

Me and my son have been seeing Dr. Shehan for years. He is the best eye doctor my family has ever been to. However, since they are now myeyedr. I refuse to go back there. I called to make a appointment today and the customer service from the front desk is horrible! No common sense or respect. I hope to see Dr. Shehan one day again to let him know why I have chosen NOT! To return to see him again. Maybe he could help make a change to the front office staff. I hate when the doctor is good and being run down by office staff.

Been going here when it was family eye care, now that my eye Dr took over front desk staff is terrible, they seem unprofessional, no dress code for front desk no hello or goodbye. The opticians are wonderful and I love the doctors but the front desk staff needs to go.

Awesome place! We’ve been going here for years and their new glasses/brand selection is great. Accidentally ordered wrong lens type but with this gang.no worries! They fixed me right up at no cost. Thanks!

I love the doctors here. My issue is more with customer service and lack there of since becoming My Eye Dr.
Last week I called to order my daughters glasses. There was confusion, I called back later and was told they were ordered.
Called back this week to find out they weren't ordered, and can't be ordered until payment. Too busy to take payment over the phone, so I should come in. I live 30 min away that isn't convenient for me at all.

They are very friendly and thorough here. Dr Shehan is awesome. I do not like when drops are squeezed in my eyes and he did it in a way so I did not have to open them! Lots of great frames to choose from too.

Always a quick response to get help when you have an eye wear emergency. My son broke his glasses at school and was able to be seen and get them fixed right away.

My family and I are new to the area and had to find an eye doctor for all of us. We were not disappointed with the Family Eye Care team! They were amazing with our young daughter, and both my husband and myself were happy with the whole experience (we went different days so at this point have had multiple encounters). I had to order a new pair of glasses and the man in charge was SO helpful, nice, and cracked jokes while helping me find glasses. We will all be going back!
