Naamans Creek Country Manor reviews
8My experience might be a rare one but it was bad enough that I left that very night. The nurse assigned to me and I just didn’t get along and the location of my room was depressing to me. I was being moved when my nurse created a controversy. The Director of Nursing seemed to lack the amount of authority necessary to perform her job sufficiently. She sided with the nurse and I left that night.
Great place unlike any were else. Very clean and super staff that take very good care of the residents. My dad was here until his passing and he really liked it very much. I am very grateful for all the care and comfort they gave him recommend Nammans Creek very highly. Chad Journey
My mother has spent almost six years here, and I cannot say enough about the care she has had, the aides, the nurses, the physical Therapy department, the kitchen staff and the maintenance and laundry guys have all been A1. The management staff, the social worker, and the office staff as well as the social activity people have really been very kind and committed to making not just my mother, but myself very happy with the care provided. They are open to suggestions and readily act on same with professionalism and compassion. I have witnessed their caring ways, all the staff, not just towards my mother, but also towards each person they come in contact with. It is a good feeling to know such kind people are looking out for the residents everyday. Five stars were not enough, so plus plus as add ons!
My sister has been here for two years, and I have nothing but PRAISE for the entire staff at Naamans Creek. The social workers are amazing, admin is very communicative, and the nursing staff is incredible. Over the two years, we had a couple of very minor issues, and they were resolved immediately. My sister is now transferring to another state, and our first choice was to go to another Genesis facility. The transition has been great so far, and we are looking forward to making new friends and helping my sister enjoy a great life living close to me and my husband. Thank you everyone at Naamans Creek! You all made a difficult transition for my sister very enjoyable and easy for our entire family. We truly can't think of any place that would be better for her well-being and safety. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
If I could give zero stars, I would. The medical care is awful. The doctor, if I can call him that, only comes in after 11 pm and, never saw my aunt when she was conscious.
As a result, he was treating her GI issues with maalox. When she continued to deteriorate, we transferred her to Riddle, where they discovered a raging E Coli infection that nearly killed her. Her bladder was filled with pus. She was in a coma for days. Better get some competent medical personnel before they do kill someone. Do not come here or entrust them with anyone you care about.
Going every day to visit for three months. First floor staff was more caeing. Second floor could care less eapecially the unit manager. Glad I don't have to go back there.
My father was in the care of Naamans Creek Manor for three months and they took fantastic care of him. Nursing homes are a difficult environment to see a loved one in but the staff was attentive to our needs. I very much appreciate what they did for my father.
Nursing home/rehab? My sister was an inpatient for five days and I had to take her out. Rehab.no, not at all! They weren't equipped to deal with her multiple medical needs. She was disrespected and abused but when they attacked her dignity I had to put my foot down.
