10 We used NEPA to get our car loan. We were on a tight schedule as our ordered vehicle arrived early (and we didn't trust our dealer not to sell it for a markup). The sign up process to join was simple and we were able to do it over the phone.
Jazz was extremely friendly and helpful and was available to answer all my questions in a timely manner. All said and done we were able to join and get the loan in two days!
My wife and I couldn't be happier. We got a great rate and the customer service was some of the best we've encountered at a bank.
Talked to them multiple times on the phone. None of the people told me I was being charged inactive fees. I call to cancel and I have to pay $20 to close my account. Absolutely insane. Terrible business practice. Literally worse than a bank. NEVER USE NEPAFCU
Sadly the VP of Sales did nothing to help me, a 6 year loyal customer, acquire a loan because the my vehicle purchase was “out of NEPA’s footprint”. I asked for documentation of this policy and she did not provide where in writing it states those conditions. NEPA representatives and even its own leadership put me in a bad position, even when I let one of the representatives know I live in Maryland (moved here from Monroe Country) and that I will be buying a car in a DMV area. They’re only option for me was to “apply for refinancing through us” and “go to USAA, they have better rates than us”. All of their lines are recorded, this was actually said by a loan consultant to me, and part of it was reiterated to me by Vanessa. On top of that, she rushed me, a very distressed customer, to hang up because we were on the phone “15 minutes past closing”.
Unbelievable customer service. I would not imagine myself saying this, but avoid this place and look elsewhere. From my experience in getting an auto loan, high-profile personnel that I have worked with have been very unprofessional through the entire process, and left me hanging. My time is wasted and I will not be doing business with them ever again
The absolute worst customer service I’ve ever experienced from a bank it’s even worst because the bank is set up for virtual customer service SMH
We flew in from Wisconsin to help a family member who is now in assisted living. NE PA was so accommodating and friendly while we consolidated accounts and used their coin machine to count those bottled coin collections. A special thanks to Nicety and Karis. I'm sorry I can't remember the names of all the welcoming people.
Great place if you want to be harassed and pestered about where you make your money and how much you have. It was always confusing as to why am I being questioned about my paycheck deposit?
Why is a bank clerk so concerned about where my money comes from? Why do i need to justify my deposits every month to some new person who is confused or nervous about the size of my check. I used to think it was racial but since i cannot even talk to these people i just decided to move on.
Terrible place. Awful customer service. Not customer friendly at all or appreciative of having long time loyal customers. Loan departments are a complete joke as well. There isn't one good department in the whole entity. Wasted many years here as a customer. They don't deserve my business
Some of the customer service folks are outstanding. Others not overly helpful but they do get help from others.
- No ATM'S in multiple areas outside of the bank.
- No reimbursements for use of other ATM'S (up to as much as $4.00!)
- Only 2 branches in "nearby" area - 10 & 14 miles away.
- Statement accessibility difficult at times (from website).
- when a question is posed to bank employees, several different answers arise.
(I asked 3 different employees about the rule on outside ATM use & the reimbursement policies, and got 3 different answers.)
On the up side, every employee is cordial and friendly, and always has a smile.
