Nelson's Arrows, Greensburg PA

I recently purchased a new bow at Nelson's arrows and I could not have been happier with the service I received. Even after spending a long time reading reviews and watching videos on the internet I wasn't sure exactly what I wanted so I spent a good amount of time at this shop asking questions. Dotty took her time answering every one and never made me feel like I was a nuisance. I would highly recommend her shop and I will continue to buy as much of my equipment from Nelson's Arrows as I can.

This has to be one of the least customer friendly shops I’ve ever stepped foot in. The fact that they are still in business surprises me. I recommend everyone to stay clear of this negative a** place.

Great, friendly service when shopping for a bow. After the sale forget it! I bought a bow several years ago. I had trouble with arrows whipping side to side. I took the bow back several times to get it straightened out. Each time I was sent back to the range with a young man as he adjusted this and that. I was then told to take the bow home and shoot it to break it in. Not once did tge owner get off her stool to come back and help solve the issue. I was the only one in the shop so it wasn't too busy for her to help. Then at a local 3D shoot 8 met a guy that had a small archery shop in his garrage. He told me to bring it over. WAH. LAH.he made some adjustments to the rest and it was fine after that. He said he works in many bows that were set up at Nelsons.

A few years pass and I figured thing s got better. We get new bows for son and daughter. You guessed it, the same scenerio played out again.

You would think after return to tge shop several times that she would be willing to help. Instead you get an I don't care attitude from her.

I got fooled twice going to her shop. There won't be a third time.

Horrible people I’ll just leave it at that. You hear them screaming at neighbors for parking near property. Un-American imho

Absolutely the best. Dotty's knowledge of archery and equipment is superceded by none. Every visit is a learning experience!

I have been going to Nelson's since she opened her doors 34 yrs ago. Dottie in my opinion knows more about bows then anyone around that's why she is still in business. I will continue to go as long as she is open for business I recommend anyone looking for a great archery shop give her a try. Congrats on your first 34 yrs!

I have bought several bows from Nelson arrows. They have always been nice to me and very helpful in choosing a bow or accessories. Very knowledgeable and a great selection of bows. If I have had any issues they correct the problem and apologize for any inconvenience even if it wasn't there fault. If your looking for a great local shop stop in and see them!

This shop has been in business for 30+ years and is very knowledgeable. They are helpful when picking out new equipment, have a great selection, and really take care of their customers.

The best archery shop anywhere! Dottty is the most knowledgeable person on archery and equipment alive. Great experience at this shop - true professionals. Would not buy anyplace else.

Dotty Nelson has forgotten more about archery than any of the shops you naysayers may visit. You have no idea the scale of her business, or the respect that she has earned in the world of archery. She has outlasted the big box stores, the basement stores, and will continue to do so. Who do you think your shop calls for advice or parts?

I would never invest so much money into my equipment for a hunt of a lifetime with anyone but Dotty. Her longevity in this industry speaks for itself. Good luck to you dissatisfied individuals, my family and friends will always support Nelson's Arrows.

I will start but saying I work for dotty for 3 years. I do not recommend anyone ever work for her or ever take ur bows or buy a bow from her and her sister.

I was on my way to Nelsons to buy a new Hoyt but after I read these reviews Im never going in that shop.she was rude to my Uncle.im going to a different Hoyt dealer.im the type that will snap and start breaking the place up so its best I dont go there!

There is nothing I like about this shop. Dotty has to be one of the most miserable ppl on the planet and she personally trains her staff to be the same. Service sucks, employees are rude and prices are high.

Would not recommend it. Women that work there are pretty much miserable, I walked out. Go some were else with friendler owners.

I walked into Nelson's arrows wanting to buy some accessories for my Mathews bow. The sales women was extremely rude and wouldn't even let me take a product catalog for my grandfather. They do not treat people well at all!

Was there today now i remember why i quit going there 20 years ago. Arrogant and could car less attitude. Drove an hour to grt there because they said they had the bow i wanted in stock. When i got there they told me they wouldnt have any built until the following day.apparently my 2 hours driving was totally unimportant to them. Could have told me that beforehand if anyone there had even a pea for a brain. Owner looks like 90 yesrs old and ready to keel over any minute and thats the way the whole business seems to be run.like its ready to drop dead any second.

Staff was rude and they are extremely hateful I asked their advice and they said "we are here to make money not give out advice" and I bought a $200 dollar sight a few days prior from them.if you shared a passion for archery you would give advice they are just bitter old people. I will NEVER go there again.

Nelson arrows employees are really nice, and dotty is really nice and helped me pick out a nice bow and put a loop and get me arrows for a fairly cheap price- I don't understand how you guys can say she is mean. I will keep going to there for a long time and keep giving her business- thanks dotty

They have a wide selection of products. The woman that runs the place, She goes above and beyond to make the customer happy.
