Dr. Black is amazing! He is so friendly and caring. The front desk is wonderful and every nurse has been super friendly. We are so blessed to have found this office!

This was a humiliating experience for me and my son with severe autism and his brother.

Despite calling ahead and explaining our situation, twice, and being assured to the contrary, the staff was unaware/unprepared/unable or unwilling to quickly and efficiently administer the vaccinations.

This resulted in an incontinent episode for my son as his anxiety became unmanageable from the wait. (While he is on the spectrum he is not unaware of his surroundings).

Unfortunately, I did not have a sufficient amount of diaper wipes to clean my son in the car. I went back inside to request some wipes while my son waited in the car. People who were in line behind me were waived past me to be assisted by people they apparently knew at the front desk. When I finally got to the desk the person wanted to know why I needed the wipes, who they were for, where was my son, etc. I gave up and went to the bathroom and tried to get enough paper towels to clean him up.

By the time I had returned to the car the situation had progressed to the point he needed a bath. I covered him up as best I could and walked him through the waiting in his socks and underwear to the bathroom while everyone watched. A nurse did see me (him) and provided some diaper wipes at that point (I’m sure that irked the person at the front desk that worked so hard to keep us from getting any diaper wipes). I wonder if they make the employees pay for the diaper wipes?

Anyway, I spoke to the office manager on the ride home, explained the situation, and asked her what I could have done differently so that some dignity could have been preserved for my son. She said she would call back and let me know. I have not heard from her which leads me to be believe there is nothing that could be done and that what happened is acceptable to Nemours.

That being said, if your kid has no issues, needs no accommodations, and/or you know someone that works there that can wave you past the people in front of you then this place might work out just fine.

Won't come back to this place anymore! Charge $35for Copay, to get covid shot & hep a shot for my son, after yearly check up visit. Also we did not have see with the doctor, only a nurse who give the shot.

They wrongly scheduled me for an appointment with a copay instead of a wellness check as requested so they’re making me return another day. When I made them aware I called previously to schedule a wellness check that was past due and that they made a mistake and scheduled me a “problem visit” they just told me well I was 8 min late for the appointment anyways so if it was a wellness check they would not have seen me and my baby anyways…. I travelled in the pouring rain for a wellness visit and now i have to return another time. Horrible way of handling their mistake. They gave me attitude for their mistake. Won’t go back.

My son went today for his annual check (toddler). The doctor was awesome. The quality of the service and the way they make you feel is fantastic! My son had also the vaccine and did not cry at all. I went before to another doctor but I can't compare with Nemours!

I used to love Nemours. Their nurses were very prompt. Now that they’ve moved to Villanova, getting through their phone lines is a miracle. I’ve been trying to call since the start of day and now it’s the end of day, they still haven’t returned my calls. This is very frustrating.

So today I had the worst experience at Nemours. I had been bringing my now 15 year old here for over a decade. I have a 1 year old now and of course I had to bring her for blood work. The nurse was so rough and aggressive with my daughter. It was like she was more concerned with drawing her blood than she was keeping her comfortable. It got to the point I had to yell at her to let go of my daughters hand because when I asked nicely she didn't let go. Unfortunately I will be looking for a new pediatrician. The nurses need new training on being gentle and perhaps culture training as well. I normally don't get into black vs white though it's a predominantly white atmosphere which never bothered me obviously because I was there for a decade but these new nurses are unacceptable.
