New Eastern Market Co, York PA

I was impressed with the local vendors at this market. Many of the other local markets specialize in Amish-made products imported from other counties, but this market helps serve the local York County communities. The prices are reasonable and the products are a good mix of traditional market products such as seafood, meats, bakery goodies and fresh local produce, in addition to hard to find and unique items.
This market has something for any occasion.
I definitely recommend the New Eastern Market for fresh, reasonably priced products.

Really great food everywhere there! The only thing that I'd suggest is to AVOID smoketown bakery pumpkin pies. Not good at all. Overspiced overpriced and low-quality.

2023: I still love this place, and I still wish they were open more days. They're one of the few markets around where I can get fruit in the big buckets to make jellies and butters. Anywhere else you don't get discounts for buying large amounts and/or they don't sell their seconds.

2019: I love this place. There's one main issue that knocked off a star though. The place is only open Friday until 6. However, the shops all start actually closing at 5, so I can never make it after work. The only way I can go is if I leave work early, which we can't do on Friday. It would be nice if they stayed open until the posted time or if they were open Saturday mornings also.

My wife shops there every Friday! There's a Great assortment of farm stands, butcher shops, and Deli stands! Good food at Good prices!

Not really open until 6. Drove across town after work to find every single vendor stall closed. Apparently the vendors actually leave at 3. Management please update your hours posted on your Facebook page!

The hours should be posted as closes at 5. There are lots of fresh meat options but by 4: 30 vendors were starting to pack up and by 5 you couldn't purchase much of anything. I would love to give them more business but it's really hard for people who work until later in the day to get there. Thankfully the cheese shop was still open and the woman there was very helpful. She gets 5 stars!

I love browsing this market. I always go home with something delicious to eat or to cook up myself.

Great stuff.fresh corn.just picked with partial stalk. SO good.got some broccoli slaw.its the best in town & other freshly made salads.yum.

Such a cool place for all your food needs! Veggies, baked goods.meats.pickles! You don't want to miss this place!

Great fresh produce, meats and baked goods. But getting in and out of the parking lot is frustrating.

I visited here just once, and the fruits were incredibly delicious and people an absolute delight!

This market is great to walk around, get food, or go grocery shopping (or all). I come here to get fresh produce from different stands, and there's a variety of vendors with a variety of produces. It can get really busy, but it is worth it to go even when crowded.

Amazing! Strawberries that are so fresh, tender, and sweet. Who knew Strawberries could taste yhis much better then store bought.

Rotisserie chicken wings (8), side of roasted potatoes, roll w/ butter, and a soda $12. Deliciously fresh and homemade.

Lemon sponge pie - A 1st for me, absolutely delicious.

Enjoy shopping there. Everything you can imagine you can get her. I was very excited to see they also sell Carmen's ice cream. Woo Hoo!

Stopped in for 1st time while waiting on my truck to be serviced. Never could before because it's closed every day except Fridays!
Hence the reason I'm only giving 4 stars.
Fridays are very difficult for a lot of people!
I would like to come again & more often if you had better hours!
I didn't even get to see everything.
CONSIDER opening on weekends for those of us who can't come out on a Friday!
Place seemed awesome from what I saw & did order a turkey wrap which was good.
