New Hope Lodge

Great location. Friendly staff, many new upgrades, like the beautiful new unground pool ready to open. We wanted a little extra time to walk the town of Lambertsville in the morning.not a problem. Thanks!

I only went to the bar. Very nice bar with nice staff and beautiful atmosphere. The couch seating is nice and it's comfortable.

Clean rooms, great service, great location. We would stay there again, and probably will next year!

Good stay at New Hope Lodge. I did not get 5 stars because the heating system did not at the fullest. Clean room, spacious. A coffee maker will be a nice addition.

We LOVED this place! We read some mixed reviews before booking and took a chance. Sure, maybe this is not a fancy 5-star resort, but it was exactly what myself, my husband, and our two toddlers were looking for.

It was right on Bridge Street. About a 5-minute drive from Peddler’s Village and 5-minute drive from the Main Street strip of New Hope. Perfect location. It was rustic and brightly colored. Everything had a fresh coat of paint and my kids were excited to see which color cabin we had. The room seemed to have new floors and had such a cabin feel. There was a front door with a button lock. There was also a backdoor with a screen door and a porch over looking a little creek that had an outdoor table (where my husband and I quietly had a glass of wine after the kids went to sleep).

The bed linens and towels all smelled so clean and were so soft. Beds were comfy and my husband was able to connect his laptop to the tv using one of the cables from the back. The bathroom, while not brand new, was well taken care of and very clean. Great water pressure, too!

Every person we spoke to on the phone and encountered when booking and staying were so kind. We arrived super early and met Dietria (I hope I spelled that correctly) who was so sweet to us and welcomed us. They took our name and had us come back in a bit so they could clean our room first.

All in all, we would highly recommend this place if you’re looking to support a small business that is rustic and low-key, very clean and comfortable, and in the perfect location.

We stopped in later that evening and was put in a spacious room. Could have been a little warmer but it was awfully cold outside. We Enjoyed the stay. Thanks again

Rustic cabin style rooms with amenities to suit basic needs - helpful clerk eager to please. Beds quite comfortable and there was no noise to keep me awake. Heat is hot like a sauna so be sure to adjust it promptly so it has time to let the room cool to your preferred temp.

We were at the Cub Room bar for a visit to see the renovations prior to opening and it's beautiful. Looking forward to celebrating the much improved return of The Cub room soon.

What a quaint little surprise! Stayed two nights with 3 friends. Reserved two rooms, each had 2 double beds.
Started off questionable, but it all worked out! A friend made the reservations weeks prior to our stay. She emailed them the night before to reconfirm because the phone number listed on the website didn’t work. Prior to finally getting a confirmation email, I did some research and found out the lodge had recently sold and was under new management. Sounds like they have some issues to work out, but the on site manager, Dietra, is awesome! So welcoming, accommodating and friendly. Our rooms were not ready the day we arrived, but we weren’t expecting them to be since check in is at 3pm. Dietra even offered to let us use her bathroom since she lives on site. How nice to offer 4 strangers in to use your bathroom! She’s a keeper new lodge owners!
We came to go biking on the trails in New Hope and the Lodge is in a perfect location to easily ride into town to pick the trails up.
Love that the lodge has a covered roof over all the rooms so we could keep our bikes dry and safe overnight. The rooms are quite large, clean and have everything you need. Would have liked a microwave in the room, but there was one in the main office we could use. Cute little patios outside each room. Had happy hour outside one evening and it was so quiet and relaxing. Comfy beds, nice, fairly updated bathrooms, could have used more hangers though.
Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again.

The place is the perfect stay after a long car ride. The rooms were set in vintage and it was homey & comfy stay. I hope I got this right - Thank you Sandy! You’ve made my stay very smooth and easy. Will definitely stay here again if I’m back in New Hope

The pictures on the website depicted an old look to it. However, old is one thing. We stayed in room 10 over the weekend, and it was absolutely disgusting. Musty, hospital like smell. I checked every part of the bed to make sure there was not any ‘friends’ hiding in there. The pillow cases were mismatched, I felt like I was in a college dorm. I couldn’t wait to check out. We kept everything off the floor. The bathroom was clean just very old, I brought my own Lysol wipes, and cleaned all surfaces. Wish I could have washed the sheets. Unfortunately, we will not be back.

The new owner was very friendly and accommodating. Our room was nice and spacious and clean. We would definitely stay there again.

We felt like we were in a 1960s lodge with modern day amenities! Came to the lambertville /New Hope for some antiquing and lucked into this place! The welcome was warm, the ambience was great, the location excellent and the staff went above and beyond. Way above and beyond! We would stay here every time we come and with continuing renovations it will only get better.

If I could give this zero stars I absolutely would! We stayed in room 18 on Nov. 5th. We got to our room and it was beyond disappointing. It was GROSS! We turned on the light switch which barely put off any light so we naturally look up to see if there's a bulb missing, but instead we find the pull cord completely mummified in spider webs. It had clearly not been cleaned in years. There was beard hairs all over the sink and backsplash, on the "clean" wash cloth folded to hold the soap, on the drinking cups that are wrapped in sanitary plastic (I'm not using those!), and then all over the bottom of the shower. How the huge clump was missed in the corner is beyond me.actually it was probably because it wasn't ever cleaned! There was also broken nail clippers on the floor in the main room (not what I want my toddler to find!). Yes it's dated and we knew that from the pictures, but there's a difference between dated and old and just plain FILTHY. I would expect this from maybe a Motel 6 or worse, not for a room we paid $222 for! We checked for other rooms in the area to stay but it was a Friday night and everything was booked. We stayed in our day clothes to sleep, got up early and left as soon as we could. I didn't even walk on the floors without my shoes on. I spoke with the Management who were unwilling to adjust the price. This is unacceptable service. Sorry doesn't cut it! I wasn't asking for a full refund. I understand we stayed, but come on, not even offering a measly $50 refund? That would have been fine with me. Take ownership of bad service people! We held up our end of the bargain by paying $222 dollars. The least you could do is provide a CLEAN room!

Perfect on hospitality. The room was great. The property is nice and wooded gives a great feeling. I love the porch to sit on and relax. Definitely recommend if in the area for any reason
