New Lancaster Valley Wilderness Lodge, Milroy PA

The only place to eat for miles so it didn't have to be good but after a day in a tree stand, what a great lodge-style bar restaurant! Loved the wings and burgers!

Basic bar with a woodsman theme, but the food was fantastic and I was able to have a fancy cocktail (James and the Giant Peach). The wait and bar staff were shorthanded but made sure we were well taken care of. Highly recommend their Mac and cheese, boneless chicken, and ribs.

Have been coming here for years, and things have gotten better. The inside and outside seating are very nice. Service has been getting a lot better over the years.

We have been here once last year and LOVED IT. However, this time around we drove 40 minutes to specifically visit this place for their wings and when we got there we had the absolute worst service I’ve ever received at a restaurant. First off we sat ourselves on the stage area which is fine except we waited at least 15 minutes with no one coming up to us so I finally asked the bartender if someone was coming over. When the waitress finally came we ordered our meals and drinks which all came out okay… BUT i never saw the waitress after that. Finally i tracked her down so I can order something to go and she gave us a menu and again disappeared. After waiting 10 minutes for her to return, I again walked up to the bartender and asked if I could just place the to-go order with her and also for a coke because our server never asked if we needed anything, or if our food was even good. The bartender did place our to-go order and got me a drink and was actually awesome. After we received our to-go food we once again waited and waited. No check. A woman who I assume was the manager came up to us and I asked her for the check, briefly mentioned how awful our service was and she seemed to not even care. I understand this place gets busy but it wasn’t at the time. We didn’t wait for a seat and the restaurant was not full. While I think this place has the best wings in MiffCo, I would rather have decent wings at Wingman’s and get quality service than drive 40 minutes to be ignored. Never again. I will not be back, & the only reason I’m giving this a second star is because the food is good. The service was not.

Food was great, service great fast. Worst part which management couldnt help was large table beside us was very loud.

Nice environment, but sat down while they weren't busy, was given menus, told our waitress would be with us shortly, then proceeded to wait 25 minutes without anyone else speaking a word to us. For context there were only 3 other groups of people there, so they weren't busy.

Awesome place! Great food, fantastic waite people, atmosphere very causal and inviting!
Highly recommend this place! If you want to hang out with friends and family and have a good time, come visit this place!

The food was great, it always is. Good people working there, and the place is always clean. A great place for family outings.

Online it stated that they open at 11am, tvs and lights were on with people inside (I am guessing who are workers - whom looked directly at me), no posted/ written sheet of hours, just to have to call and them tell us that they aren't open yet.
