New Leaf 2 Chinese & Japanese Cuisine reviews
18Average food, could use more seasoning, somewhat overpriced for what it is but not outrageously so. My main complaint was the service, our waitress must’ve changed 3 times when we were there, and my entree was brought out with our group’s appetizer. So for the next 10 minutes after we ate our scallion pancakes, my entree became room temperature while we waited for their entrees to finally come.
One of my favorite places for food in Manayunk. Great sushi and Chinese food. Would always recommend for a good dinner. Takeout and Dine in are both good choices here. They have beer and good mixed drinks too.
Very tasty food! We loved the atmosphere. Very clean and the staff were nice. Everything was cooked well and they give very large portions of food. I definitely recommend!
The food and service are always consistently good here. The time it takes to get your food is super fast too!
Food is always amazing. My husband and I usually order one or two different dishes each time and everything we had is great. I am not a big fan of inside table/seating, but the bar area and the outdoor seating are very nice!
Nothing bad to say about this place. Great Atmosphere. Drinks are very good. Food is delicious. Staff is kind. This is a reoccurring spot.
Customer service was great but probably the worst nigiri I’ve ever had, not exaggerating. Sloppily made and NOT fresh. It was a total waste of $30. Other meals are tasty but avoid the nigiri altogether.
The best Lo mein and best chow fun I e ever had. The flavors are incredible and the freshness of the ingredients…#chefskiss!
The size of the shrimp - huge! The tenderness of the beef and roasted pork in any dish will make you want to come back to try every dish.
The wontons are silky and light, not overly doughy or heavy. The broth isn’t overly salty either. Very nice balance and so delicious.
The fried rice is out of sight! And the sushi even…. This restaurant has it all and can have freshly prepared dishes ready in such a reasonable time.
I love it here!
Extensive menu, great service, food arrived quickly, large portions and delicious! Of course, parking is always a challenge on Main St
The spring rolls were delicious. Not a fan of the cheese steak eggs rolls. I enjoyed the beef lo mein. Drinks prices are pretty extravagant although the food prices are reasonable.
Food was delicious, very nice intimate spot. Very attentive staff. Can't wait to visit again
My son and I stopped there for lunch yesterday and the food and service were fabulous. We were seated, given water right away, the nice waitress took our drink order. She came back and took our food order. We order all different Sashimi. The fish was freshly, beautifully cut and presented on the plate. She checked on us and was very attentive. I have to say this is one of my favorite places and I look forward to coming back.
Decent sushi and pretty standard packaged miso soup.
Good pick for a group outing - they also have tvs everywhere (local sports are pretty well covered).
They have a broad range of Chinese and Japanese dishes - as well as two preparations of duck.
Would rate higher - but the duck wasn't very meaty and was excessively greasy.
This review is based off how bangin the Wok Tossed Shrimp is. There's a huge menu with a lot of delicious options but this entre under the Chef Special section really did it for me. Place also has good cocktails.
Very fast takeout service! Perfect for a weeknight dinner to pick-up on the way home. Love the variety on the menu. I have yet to try everything but all that I've tried has been delicious
One of my favorite dishes is Lo Mein. I ordered the beef Lo Mein, but instead of spaghetti noodles I chose a udon noodles. On the menu, it said the U Don Noodle Lo Mein is made with shiitake mushrooms, bean sprouts, Napa, scallions, carrot, and a savory soy sauce. What I got was udon noodles with red onion, scallions, shredded carrots, and very little Napa, with average tasting soy sauce. There were no shiitake mushrooms and bean sprouts just a bunch of the cheapest ingredients to make up the dish. So no I will not be patronizing this restaurant, and anyone who does check to make sure you are getting what you ordered.
Third time ordering that food was missing. We ordered over $100 in food and about $40 of it was missing. So I called to let them know and I was called a lier and hung up on I called back and asked for a manager or owner and was hung up on again like who does that to a customer. NEVER AGAIN FOR US!
Very good food, our table enjoyed sushi, chicken, bok choy, spring roll order only ce with one. Really? Salad was good. Get chicken w/ teriyaki sauce on side. Cut down on salt tremendously. Careful about parking. Manayunk makes it soooo convenient to run out to move your car to find another spot to park after an hour and if u are late? $26. Ticket. I'll try another city to dine in.
