New Leaf Chinese & Japanese Cuisine reviews
16Omg! My first time ordering here on Christmas Day and the food was amazing! Everything was packed neatly and presented well to be take out. I had the shrimp rolls, shrimp wonton soup, and shrimp fried rice and I’m so glad I ordered from here.
My husband & I shared the crab rangoon. They were excellent! I ordered the chicken lo mein. It was good! My husband ordered a large bowl of special won ton soup. It had shrimp, beef, lo mein noodles, bok choy, mushrooms, etc in it. It was very good! We will definitely come back!
If you like overpaying for strip mall Chinese food, this is the place. I saw “Japanese” and was craving good sushi. What I found was cheap quality Chinese food and some poorly wrapped sushi with what appeared to be battered fish sticks.
I’m giving 5 stars because the food is amazing and everyone should try! We went Christmas Day and it was extremely busy with one waitress literally running all around the restaurant. She was sweet as can be but we felt awful for her. Every table was taken when we left and people were waiting at the door. Whoever the owner is should give her a humongous raise because she handles it like a champ. Dec 25,2022
I think this is the best Asian food in delco. The food from here is always consistent and fresher than anywhere else. They give all white meat chicken as an option in lot of their chicken dishes, huge + for my wife.
This is a go-to for me for takeout, would recommend.
Every item I have tried tasted great. Dan Dan noodles, fried rice, Shushi Pad thai, it wall all tasty as heck
Spent $50 tonight on… like nothing. Super expensive. Wonton soup was weirdly chewy, 2 packets of soy sauce come with the sushi. I asked for more soy sauce and got the lower end packets that no one likes. First time ever I didn’t finish my sushi roll. Really disappointed- I don’t know the area yet but this can’t be it.
Pitiful service and slow kitchen. Took my mom to lunch there and she got her meal and was almost done when I canceled the roll I had ordered. There were only 4 people in the restaurant. The manager came to our table and tried to justify the slow kitchen
Stear clear of this restaurant
The food was delicious! The crab Rangoon was scrumptious! The beef chow fun was hot, tasty and enough for 3 people. The service was great!
Great food, But when I ordered desert, I realized I paid almost $7 for a had size coconut sorbet, that comes out of box of ice creams I buy at Costco for $11! Was not thrilled! Sometimes I feel rushed out as soon as I finish.but the food is Great!
Their food is always fresh and delicious. I discovered this place doing door dash. Check it out you will not be disappoints.
Pan fried noodles sauce was watered l had seafood with it the taste was good. Everything else we purchase was delicious.
Beware! We ordered 2 seperate entrees off of doordash and received 1 order of rice. Called the store and I was told I have to make a special request for separate rice. That makes no sense when the receipt says 2 orders. I put in a request for a refund.
I spent close to $100 on my past order. The tuna in the roll was brown/black. Everywhere else I have eaten sushi the tuna has always been pinkish. I called the restaurant bc I was a little concerned and wanted to know how fresh the tuna was. I was told that the color will lighten over time… A little confused because that was my meal and I wanted to eat it that night and who eats sushi as leftovers? ! I used to live in PA and my sister brought it to me after surgery. Disappointed.
Ordered beef chow fun and bbq spareribs. So disappointed due to the food looked like it been sitting out for days. The ribs was a disgusting, look like they took it off another customer complained order. It still had noodles stuck under the ribs and was also a eaten bone left behind. I tried it and it was the most disturbing thing I ate in my life.
Super solid chinese spot. Everything I've had (chinese menu almost exclusively) was well cooked and tasty.yes, there are some gaps (the cumin lamb doesn't taste how I'd expect from other Szechuan spots in Philly), but I'd be happy if this was my neighborhood chinese spot.
