The first guy was older and a bit ruff but nothing bad. I had a stiff hand once in a while and he was always nice about telling me to relax and stuff but I love my nails and the girl I finished with last was so nice

New York Nails & Spa is probably the only nail salon I always leave satisfied with my nails. I went to different Salons looking for the best manicurist, and in the end I am satisfied.

I unfortunately had to cancel due to a personal emergency. They were very understanding and inviting me back as as possible. Tha KS again for understanding and look forward to rebooking with you soon as possible.

Very distracted and missed filing 3 nails and she said she did and i saw she did not but intead of filing it she argue that she did so i left it alone.then they do not do like NY.they dont put cream on hands to massage while nails are drying.pricey.i will not go back again they lost a customer.

Horrible place. Not like NYC nails. Its fake. They do not pay attention to your nails. So be careful. Im from Nyc. I just like clear maintained nails and food nails.

I love my nails! They did a great job on my nail fill and gel polish with flowers. This place is busy for a reason! I've had my nails done a few different places in Altoona and this one definitely gave the best results.fyi on the pics.my cuticles were damaged before I went in, they actually look much better after getting the nails done.

I never write reviews but my experience here was by far the worst nail shop experience I have ever had. Don’t bother booking an appointment like I did because it doesn’t matter there. They painted my nails pink when I asked for clear and wouldn’t redo it so they painted over the top with nude. They completely botched the design and my nails have already chipped 3 days later. They are unprofessional and underprepared.

I had the worst experience. I usually get my nails done there and they have made a few mistake nothing to major to not come back until today. They were so aggressive wouldn’t listen to me when I asked them to cut it down more they said it’s fine but it’s my nails? He messed up twice had to take them off and redo them I finally got fed up asked them to stop and I was gonna go somewhere else the girl came over said okay leave grabbed my hand then started cutting my nails aggressively they were so unkind and not to mention super expensive I will never return. And this is how I left with my nails looking never again.

The staff is super nice and remember me- and I don't go very often. They iare really Attentive and go the extra to make sure you’re happy and satisfied. Love New York Nails & Spa and this salon would be my new position. Very quick service! My friend and I walked in and had immediate service for gel manicures. Came here I had a pedicure, one of the best experiences 10/10!

Not happy, nice lady but they didn’t listen to what we wanted and was very hurried. Nails not even and cut to short for us.will not be going back and won’t recommend. Even the customer before us was not happy about hers either.not going back.
