Newberry's Yard of Ale, Stroudsburg PA

Service was fantastic, food was AWESOME. Was not expecting this high of a level of food quality from a craft beer establishment. We went there for the beer, but will return for the food. Kudos to the chef!

Friendly staff and good food. Great historic name for the building it is in. Adds to the atmosphere being named after Newberry’s.

Something is off here. Food was terrible and beer fridges weren't working. Steer clear if it is dead at 5 on a Thursday. That should've been a sign

Came here for our friend's birthday. The owner actually came to our table and told us about the Bash Burger! Service was absolutely incredible and the food was magnificent. There was live music and really awesome decor. We'll DEFINITELY be back. Couldn't possibly be happier!

This cozy bar in the heart of Main street at Stroudsbourg offers a wide range of beers and option for burgers and main courses. Been there in few occasions, surely recommend the burgers, especially the one with blue cheese (for the lovers). Sometimes live music fills the place with warmth. The show that I witnessed was exactly what I was looking for when picking this restaurant: a solo guitarist and author of songs describing fun and entertaining events of the main character.
The vibe is positive and the music selection also appropriate for the athmosphere (rock, punk and other type of music from the 70 and 80, not too loud or too low).
If looking for a place for hang out for a couple of hours, this is it. Service is great. Totally worth it.

Went here later in the evening on a Thursday. The bartender was pleasant and the crowd was friendly. Good beer menu, and an above average food menu. Imthe interior is very well done with lots of wood. I plan to visit again soon when in the area

Beer great, taco’s excellent, service confused. Very slow. Didn’t get silverware nor napkins. Friendly when you see them but nowhere to be found.

We came here by chance looking for a place to eat and get a drink. Ended up chatting with the owner and bartender and having just a great time and enjoying some good food. We were back the following night for an event and they did a great job with the downstairs space and a fairly large group. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in town!

Perfect spot for good food, especially outside! Bring the kids, bring the puppies! We've gone her a number of times and have recommended it to out of town visitors. The food is always fresh and delicious. I highly recommend the Bash Burger. Some of the food items are a little high in price so just keep an eye on that if you're watching your budget. Salads are also very good!

The food was very good. We sat outside on a beautiful day so that was great. The service was decent, not great, but decent. Parking is street parking, not a ton available but enough. I don’t remember the music. Outside seating and you can bring your pet. Overall 4.5 stars, but that’s not an option so I’ll give it 5. Definitely will go back.
Update: went back twice. The basement speak easy is very cool! The second time I went back and sat outside, the service was pretty bad. I had to go find a server. Yuck. Took off a star for that. Do better.

Pennsylvanians love pretzels. How can you ruin a pretzel? In my 50 years of looking, only Newberry has ever found a way. Scorched. Dry. Tasteless. Ugh. Barbecue Pork sandwich destroyed by bitter cheese. Ugh. Beer is a 9. Food is a 2. They should have BYOF for places like this.

Food is average, beer on tap was expensive. If your looking for a meal that makes you want to come back again I’d look elsewhere.

Clams were phenomenal! Definitely recommend! Service was good - tommy was a pleasure! Good bang for your buck on food! I’d come again

Discovered this place on our pub crawl. Great beer selection and great bartender. A really nice place to go, the only negative is its not a dive! Seriously-a really comfortable place

Pineapple Habana wings was awesome. Fish and chips and pulled pork sandwiches was excellent. The waitress Skye was great waiting on tables and bar maid. She made sure everything was going well. A must place to eat

Don’t get me wrong, the service was amazing and everyone was polite. I cant excuse finding plastic cooked into my food.
