Newfoundland Hotel

Stopped in for a quick burger and drink. Martini was $14.50 which is the most I've ever paid for a well gin martini. It wasn't even Bombay sapphire gin. So much for buying local.

We’ve been wanting to come here since it has great reviews, and we’re so glad we did! Food was great (prime rib special, shrimp & scallops, pretzel coins and timmy II wings), came super fast and pretty large portions! Meals come with a soup or salad! Our server was so nice and thoughtful! This restaurant will become a new staple when we’re in town!

Finally got the chance to drop in and have dinner here and it was delicious! Made a good choice and ordered the salmon, very full, round dinner and worth it! They have a full menu of choices and drinks too, good laid back atmosphere

-4 stars a dive bar posing as a restaurant! I’d comment about the food, but we sat there for over half an hour and didn’t even get to give our order. Our first clue should’ve been when we saw a couple walk out Because they never got to order. A lot of places have sticky tables and look filthy, so I won’t mention it.

They still have it! We went to The Newfoundland Hotel for dinner tonight, so perfect, very busy but they didn't miss a beat. Tamara was fantastic! They were out of rice pudding so that will be next time!

In fairness, I can't say whether or not the food was good because after our waitress brought my drink, we never saw her again. After waiting a good amount of time to be seated and drink ordered, she disappeared. She was in the vicinity of our table a couple of times but never came back to take our order. I tried to make eye contact each time, but she wasn't having any of that. We sat for a good 20 minutes before deciding to leave. I had only ordered a ginger ale, which I didn't touch and my husband had the water that the waitress already had in her hand when she seated us, as the couple that was there prior to us also left before they ordered their food. We should have been forewarned.so, leave we did.and warned the patrons that were waiting to be seated (and waiting.and waiting.) that they might get seated, but if they expected to eat, they might not get the privilege. If I could give zero stars, I would. Cute place, though.

Stellar. Food, ambience, staff, everything was great! Thank you! We rarely go out to eat, but it was my birthday so we took a shot on a place neither one of us had been in many years and they did not disappoint! Highly recommend! We'll be back soon! Thank you again!

The server didn't really know what she was doing.
The food cost was alot, and drinks were expensive.
I will not go back.

Wing nite buffet was well maintained with plenty of wings, great sides of baked potatoes with stuffing great options, broccoli, cheese, bacon bits, sour cream and blue cheese dressing or ranch to dip. Also came with soup or salad with drinks. Soup was OK, turkey, broccoli, cheese soup, alittle watered down (expected more like thick broccoli cheedar with turkey) but onion was good! Had great time! Always good there!

My first time, I was there, I had the Best burger in PA.and the server was great she mentioned she was from New York, that she had moved from NY a long time ago.
I am leaving 3 stars because I went there a second time and my burger was not same I was disappointed I don't know what happened that day maybe they change chefs.

Wow, the food was delicious, I had onion soup and hot roast beef with mashed potatoes and gravy! If we are ever in the area again will definitely be visiting again.

Service was bad and slow, ordered pasta with clams and got an entire bowl filled with clam juice, oil, and butter with noodles just in it… didnt even look eatable, couldve made ramen better, definitely not worth it whatsoever.

We went here and they told us they couldn't seat us because they were short staffed, I understand people aren't working these day but you have a party of 5 and we were all there to get a good meal and drinks, we would have spent a lot on the dinner and raved about it if it was good, I'll never know though, everything good I heard about this place went out the front door when they turned us away.so sad, they lost good customers.
Oh and the waitress would've gotten a very good tip, being short handed and working extra hard to please us.that's the kind of people we are.

Wings good, salad wilted, my Ny strip steak was not NY strip.and was all fat… almost inedible, but I made due, ordered a martini with kettle one and was charged 18$ …. Last time I checked I was eating dinner in Newfoundland pa and not Manhattan…. Anyway the wings were good that’s about it. Oh and my server was very nice.

Food is great. Prices are more than fair. Lady that helped us treated us like we have been friends for life. I wish i remembered her name. Absolutely going back.

Very accommodating and friendly. Good very good and staff prompt and courteous. Sat outside work our little Pitt. He was well attended to as well. Definitely recommend!

Nice atmosphere, few improvement would help like the torn up bench seats.
Food was well priced and reasonable good. We had crab cakes and turkey sandwich. My martini was a bit overprice compared to everything
else. Interesting waitress with a fun personality.

I was there for my first time for a wedding reception, it was great. I had the steak, one of the best in a long time. Very nice place.
