Nifty Fifty's (Folsom)

Just got off the phone with an employee and she was just so rude.really miss what this restaurant used to be

Nifty Fifties is a fun old school burger and milkshake place. There are so many different milkshakes to try. I recommend getting more than one for the table and splitting them. If you're going to the Folsom location, do yourself a favor and request McKalya as your server. She is so nice and friendly, and is an excellent server. She will make your experience as good as it can be.

Even though they messed up my order I still give them a 5 star rating. The food is amazing and delicious. I love the 60's theme and even though the place is always packed they keep it clean all the time. This restaurant and location is my go to every time I am in Philadelphia. If you haven't tried niftys fifty's you haven't lived

I love this place. I had the cheese steak and fries for the first time, and it was really good. My friends food temperature was not up to par. The waitress had the manager come over. He apologized, quickly resolved our issue, and everyone was happy. My first timers are looking forward to returning to Nifty Fifty's. Thank you, everyone, for making our visit pleasant.

I absolutely love the food at Nifty Fiftys. It's a guilty pleasure. The spicy cheese fries and Texas Tommy are a must.

I took my wife and niece there in November 2023 for breakfast. We ordered breakfast which came with toasts. Our toast was given to another customer but were charged for the toasts. When we told our server that we never received our toasts, she practically accused us that stealing. She was so adamant that she served us with the toast and made it seems like we were trying to avoid paying the $5 charge for the toast.

Was just told that they aren't allowed to sit a group of 3 in a booth and that we would have to wait for either the bar or a table? Seems weird. Didn't stay to eat because I didn't want to have to wait for a certain table to open as they were taking the people behind us.

Nifty Fifty's is a great local restaurant with a cool retro atmosphere. The look and feel are of the 1950's and the local ice cream shop or parlor where you could get a great milkshake, ice cream, and great counter style food and service. Unfortunately, l didn't have a great service experience. I placed an order, face to face at the take out area, and the young lady placed the wrong order after verifying the order 2x's before completing it and taking payment. After 20 minutes of waiting, and my asking to confirm no cheese on my beyond burger, she determined that my order was input incorrectly, she putvin for the wrong food item l, apologized, and went to have it corrected. I had to wait another 20+minutes for the corrected order. In the meantime, I watched several employees walk around, appear confused at times with no clear direction, and other orders be filled, returned, etc. This was frustrating as this was a multiple person order, and their policy is to render all things at the same time, so they had to wait for their items as well.
It took a total of 40+minutes for me to get one burger and fries and one drink.
I was surprised because I have visited and dined here before. The service was much better. I don't know that I would go back.

Food was good. Wait staff is busy but friendly. Atmosphere is noisy; but that was the 50's.

Tired of getting home and finding cheese on my burger after I specifically tell them PLAIN, NO CHEESE. I don't get to eat dinner tonight, so thanks for wasting my money

I went here with my mom and my dad and we waited like 10 mins for a waiter to come over and no waiter came over the waitress we’re just standing there and making fun of one of there co workers, so we just left, when there is people that come in to a diner or restaurant they should get served as soon as possible.

Came in for pickup and placed order in store. Ordered 4 items and only 3 of them were correct but all of them were soggy, undercooked and overall a huge disappointment. $35 for a messed up order, soggy food, and loads of frustration. Will not be returning!

Very busy Saturday and the girl doing take out orders is overwhelmed but getting everyone out in a timely matter. One door dash customer did have an attitude and was rushing her. As she was handling this customer the cook Ryan began to yell at her to just block them from the store. Definitely didn’t help the situation and made the atmosphere very tense he definitely needs some more training or just doesn’t need to work there if he’s going to talk to his team like that.

This was my first time eating here. I’ve heard nothing but good things from my partner about this place. We were in the area and wanted to give it a try. We stopped in, and we waited a couple of minutes to be seated, ”. We started off with a couple of shakes since that was the biggest thing we drove all the way up there for. I ordered the cheesecake shake. It was absolutely delicious; this shake comes in a metal tumbler which was pre frozen to keep your shake cold. The shake itself was a good consistency to where it was still mostly ice cream. We then shared an appetizer, which was the chili cheese fries. I must say that was delicious. The chili and the cheese they use are good quality and very good. I ordered the mushroom and Swiss Philly. The sandwich was huge and a very good size, for those who want a lot of food. The restroom was updated, however it did look as if someone had peed on the floor. A little more cleaning of the restroom should be done throughout the day, especially since these restrooms are shared between men and women.
