What went well:
I really appreciate the DJ meeting in-person with us and our rented A/V equipment. The DJ's song selections for pre-ceremony and before open dancing were nice. We all enjoyed the photo booth. The ceremony was largely uneventful, in a good way. The centerpiece giveaway, using criteria of my creation, was very entertaining for everyone.

However, there were big issues with the reception.
1. The DJ made slow transitions between pre-dance activities and clearly had not prepared for them before the event.
2. The DJ cut out all of the pre-requested open dance floor interlude activities. This was after approaching us with concern for being behind schedule, yet saying "we don't need to cut out anything. " A better explanation than time constraint is that the DJ was not prepared for the activities. The failure in communication itself was detrimental to our evening.
3. There were issues with open dance floor song selection:
- The playlist was a poor representation of the variety expressed in our song suggestions, including not playing any songs in the first language of the bride.
- The "after party" (post-fake-exit) music was a mess. The biggest issue was that we had suggested songs for an edgier vibe, but the DJ kept playing "mainstream conservative white American" music. The dance floor failed after just four songs, until I revitalized it by cutting the dancing short and instructing two final, unique songs.
- The DJ did not respect the "must-play" song suggestion designation. I expect a DJ to be capable and willing to include more of them, even the less-than-usual songs, into their playlist while still fulfilling their vision.
Other issues:
- The groom's last name was pronounced incorrectly. On top of that, the bride was wrongly identified with the groom's last name.
- The app they use is a good idea, but poorly executed, as I was constantly fighting with the interface.

Ryan was the DJ at my sister’s wedding years ago. And he was great to work with. Really makes sure there’s nothing to worry about throughout the day! And creates a fun atmosphere. When I got married last October, we knew right away we wanted Nittany Entertainment as well, and was one of the very first vendors we decided on! It was such a fun, stress-free day and night, and he had everyone on the dance floor

Eric was absolutely incredible to work with! One of the most important parts of our wedding day was the music and he listened to everything that we asked for. All of our guests were raving about the music!

Eric was the DJ for our wedding at the IrontFront (Lewisburg, PA) in May 2023. We specifically chose Nittany Entertainment because they had experience with Bollywood music. The planning process was a breeze, and we were able to personalize which songs we wanted played. There were a few hiccups with timing and cuing of music, but overall Eric mixed a good dance party! Our dance floor was filled with guests all night long!

We also booked a photobooth through Nittany and everyone LOVED it!

I love Eric's business model and the way he conducts business in general. He is a great guy. I've worked with two of his DJ's at weddings and both were stellar. They understand great music, how to get the crowds going and are always professional!

I used Nittany Entertainment for my wedding and they over delivered! Planning what you want for a DJ can be one of the most stressful parts, but they are so incredibly easy to work with and give you exactly what you want.

We trusted Nittany Entertainment to DJ our wedding and could not be more satisfied! Our DJ (James) was absolutely fantastic. Calm, cool and collected during setup, sound checks and while confirming small details or changes on the day of the wedding. His ceremony/reception sound was flawless, and he was really laid back and easy to work with. Most importantly, James was also able to read our crowd and curated a dynamic vibe that kept people dancing ALL NIGHT.

I would 100% recommend Nittany Entertainment to somebody planning an event. The process is made easy using an app for providing a timeline and music preferences, completed at your own pace, and then confirmed on a phone call much closer to your event. The whole process is very modern and makes planning smooth.

Eric did an amazing job for our wedding! He was very professional and took time to meet with us as we were planning. He offered great suggestions and helped fill in the gaps with some of the planning elements.

From the classy ceremony music, to the crazy party on the dance floor, Eric kept the show running flawlessly. The dance floor was a sight to behold. Once the party started, it never stopped. He read the room well, realizing our guests were ready to rock and he kept that energy going! We had an amazing night and he played a big part in that!

I cannot speak highly enough of Nittany Entertainment! They provided DJ services as well as uplighting for our May 2022 wedding. They were extremely responsive, professional, and a pleasure to work with. Eight months later, our family and friends are still raving about how we had the best DJ of any wedding they've attended! And we agree! Jason was THE BEST! We had a very specific vision in mind for our music that night and not only did he follow our requests, he went above and beyond to make the music and dancing the best part of our reception. When I say our dance floor was packed, it was PACKED! Everyone danced for 4 hours straight. I wish I could relieve this night all over again, and it is thanks to Nittany Entertainment and Jason making it happen!
