No Nonsense Neutering reviews
13THANK YOU. Im embarrassed but we are both disabled and i also have high aniety and ptsd and almost died from covid. Oh n im old. My puppy is my new therapy dog and i was so upset getting her spayed. I believe i even like a fool started crying when i brought her in this morning. I WANT TO THANK THEM AND THE DR. I was so nervous. This staff n Dr. Were so nice to me and my puppy. I cant express how greatfull i am because we dont have a lot of money and would go without for my puppy. All i can say is what you all do is so nice. Thank you again and im sorry for being nervious.
Or my dog in this clinic and they treated her with a lot of love and respect from the moment I took her it was very easy and quick to make the appointment Thank you for the excellent work
Got my cats spayed at a fraction of the price that a typical vet would charge. Very happy! No issues.
They fulfill such a need in the community. Should be cherished and supported for decades to come! I don’t know of any other low cost spay/neuter clinic in our area.
First, I just want to make note that I would give the professional who performed the procedure a 5 star. If it weren’t for her… I would have walked out. The girls at the front counter were extremely rude when I walked in, asked a question about the form, tried to inquire about a pick up time.or asked any questions. I have dealt with a lot of unreasonable people in my lines of work & can shrug a lot off.but it was disheartening to see just how mean the girls at the counter were. I bit my tongue & as I was preparing to say no way… a professional came out, greeted me, etc… and I felt better. To her. I want to say thank you. To the girls at the counter, get a new job if you hate it so much, and remember.treating others horribly is a reflection of no one other than yourself! Glad to see it wasn’t just me, & several other reviews shown this.
We recently had our one and a half year old cat spayed and she has healed up wonderfully and is her usual happy self! We had zero issues with drop off, pick up, or after care. The incision was neatly sutured and the cost of $90 vs $900 that our vet quoted us allowed us to spend that money spoiling our girl in ways that she enjoys.
I will never take any of my animals there EVER. They were extremely unprofessional and rude. Whispered in front of me about my choice of flea treatment and bad mouthed another employee with me standing right there. I watched them drag a scared dog into the back by his neck without even trying to comfort him. I asked
a question and the woman snapped at me saying she didn't know the answer but made no attempt to get an answer for me. If I could give negative stars I would! I didn't leave my dog, I got back in my car and left!
My baby recently got spayed at the plains location & they were nothing but wonderful. She did not need pain medication for more than one day & was back to bouncing around in 2. Her incision looked beautiful the day I picked her up & healed great. Thanks no nonsense neutering for taking good care of my Willow!
I believe No Nonsense provides a good low cost service. The front counter staff were snippy and blunt with me and toward others as I dropped off a feral cat today (5/30/23). My wife and I have done the catch, neuter, release for around 15 years to help control the cat population in our neighborhood.
"Rules and procedures are many, and there is no flexibility. The staff could use some courtesy training.
We took 2 of our cats here and they were traumatized and took several months for them to get better. One of our cats continued to go in and out of heat even after being spayed. I recently took her to a veterinarian and they said she was incorrectly spayed and they had left tissue around her overies and I ended up having to spend over a thousand dollars to fix what they had done.
Worst place to ever go to. I took my kitten and they returned him to me saying he had flees, and before when we dropped him off they said they take in strays that have problems with flees. Left him for eight hours and when we pick him up his arm was swollen and his eye was red and swollen. After I got home I called them to see what had happened and I was met with a lady with the worst bedside manners ever and her saying that "he rubbed his face on the cage which led to his swollen eye" and they had "no clue why his arm was swollen". I will NEVER take another pet there and hope they get shut down. Please no one go there.
Let me start by saying I was a vet tech for 15 years, so I know what to look for. This place is wonderful! Facility is clean; Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Everything from scheduling the appt, to checking in our kitten, to picking her up was organized and smooth. The Vet who performed the spay explained everything to my husband (he did the pick up) in a way he understood. The post-surgery instructions were clear. They even called us to let us know they noticed our kitten had ear mites, and asked if they could treat them. The overall cost, including the ear mite treatment, was affordable. The spay incision was clean. Well done!
Thank you for taking care of our RJ! I will definitely bring my other kitties here. Highly recommend!
I've had 4 barn kitties fixed here, and scheduling 3 more.great group of people, gentle, caring & professional.
We took our male dog here about a week ago to get neutered. Staff were friendly enough and the process/paperwork was pretty straight forward. I noticed several comments about staff being rude, and although I had a pleasant experience, I did hear lobby staff talking negatively about other customers. Just be mindful of who can hear you; it's unprofessional. My only issue, apart from that, is that I was charged for the microchip even though my dog already has one. Unfortunately, I was not the one to pick up our dog or I would've said something about it. Overall, not a bad experience and our dog is healing well. It's a good place to go for reduced pricing on sterilization.
