Bakery Nomadic Pies reviews
17Had their pie at Thanksgiving. Pumpkin and Apple Crumb. Pumpkin had chunks of Pumpkin or something in it and the oat crumb topping on the apple overdid the entire pie. Definitely not worth $50 for two pies.
The Apple pie was amazing.if you’re thinking about ordering. DO IT. You will not regret it. The family loved it and we will be ordering again soon.
What a gem! Nomadic Pies is such a special place. The team here is great and you can tell they put so much love into this business. The pies are beautifully crafted and taste amazing. Well done!
For special occasions our family loves to treat ourselves to a Nomadic Pie! Our favorites are the Chocolate Lavender Pie! For savory options, we just had a Tomato, Zucchini, Basil, and Parmesan -which is a seasonal option. Super friendly staff also!
A must after visiting Longwood Gardens! The pies are so delicious! The smaller sizes are much larger than you would expect. A nice change from the dutch style pies you get at an Amish or mennonite farm stand. Highly recommend!
I had a pie from here for the first time at the mushroom festival YEARS ago. Every year I go to the festival I make sure to stop in for pie from here. Highly recommend
The most delicious sweet and savory pies piled high with locally sourced ingredients. An absolute must stop in Kennett Square!
We have tried and tried to get a pie from this place, to no avail. The first time, it was in the middle of winter and we were freezing. We walked in hoping to have a piece of pie and a cup of coffee. The person behind the counter ignored us (we were the only ones there) and when we finally got his attention, we asked him what was available he looked bored and said, "what do you mean? " We said, "what type of pies do you have? " He gestured toward the board and said, "everything is listed there. " So we picked one out (I don't remember the type) and he says, "oh we're out of that. " He offered no other suggestions, so we left. The second time we tried, the counter person literally stood with his back to my husband for five minutes while my husband waited for him to turn around and acknowledge my husband. The person just continued to stand there ignoring my husband until my husband left. The THIRD time was this morning. My mother went to try again, thinking maybe the third time's the charm. Drives all the way into town to find the store completely closed. On a Saturday. Whatever. At this point, we've run out of chances. It just seems like a place that is not very interested in selling pies to us and we're destined to never be able to get anything from them. Oh well.
Delicious pies. Delicate crust that melts in your mouth. Sweet or savory can't go wrong either way.
Not sure how I’m just reviewing this place. It is a true gem of Chester County. Absolutely delicious quiches, sweet and savory pies. We have sampled almost everything and we’re always amazed how good it is. Even the most basic chicken pot pie will blow you away. Personal favorites are the red Thai curry, Shepard’s pie, and any quiche with caramelized onions. Locally sourced ingredients so you know you’re getting your money’s worth. Molly and her staff are always super hospitable. The manager I think her name is Kylie is also super sweet
The best chicken pot pie I ever had. Can easily feed a large family with leftovers. Everything is locally sourced and it shows up in the quality of the items they sell.
Excellent ramp and goat cheese quiche, something to look forward to every spring! Apple-berry pie took me back to my childhood when my grandmaw used to make me pic and pit the fruit first.perfect balance of sweet and tart and beautiful presentations!
Love Nomadic Pies! Everything I’ve tried has been delicious (their pecan pie and sweet potato pie with ginger snap crust are my two favorites so far) and I’m looking forward to continuing to order from their impressive sweet and savory pie menus:)
Outrageously good pies and quiches. Lots of local ingredients, and employees seem very happy. Too good! Worth every penny!
My family was just blown away by the exquisite pies from Nomadic Pies. This was our first visit, but certainly not the last. Hands down, simply the best chicken pot pie and quiche I have ever had. Our four year old twin granddaughters loved it. And what is there to say about the chocolate lavender pie! AMAZING! Can't wait for leftovers tomorrow.
Not only is the pie (both savory and sweet) consistently awesome their service is fantastic. I’ve ordered for week night dinners, special occasions snd my husband got me a pie of the month club membership that is always a treat! Cant say enough great things!
