Norte sur Mexican Restaurant, Reading PA

This new addition to the Mexican cuisine scene in the Exeter/Mt Penn area has it all: a bright and pleasing atmosphere, really friendly staff (greeter, table server, food server - everyone), and quality food! My shrimp soup (sopa cameron) was tasty with plump, fresh shrimp and lots of flavor. The quantity was just right for a filling lunch. My dining companion had the taco salad and it looked so tasty that I'll be ordering that next time ;)

Service was friendly and welcoming. Good was very good and perfect for lunch and dinner. Very clean environment.

Wait staff were friendly and helpful. The food was very delicious and free chips and salsa. Prices seemed very reasonable. Will return.

Cute Mexican place. When we sat down, they gave us a bowl of chips and salsa. I ordered the lunch special chimichanga. It came with lettuce, tomato, rice, refried beans, sour cream and guac for 8.99. My husband got the grande burrito. Not sure of the cost. Service was good and so was the food.

My mother, brother and myself went to visit this place on a recommendation. So we have the following,

The Norte sur Nachos with meat and chicken, the steak quesadilla, Enchiladas Norte Sur with 3 different proteins and the Churros with ice cream with wipped cream (these were stuffed with caramel I believe).

Everything was delicious and the servings are large. Excellent we will definitely come again. Our server was very fast, attentive and friendly. Definitely visit this place.

We decided to try Norte sur and enjoyed the food and service enough that we have now been there twice and are sure to return. And for my wife to suggest a return to a restaurant, says a lot.

First time coming food was great and service was perfect, the food was good, the atmosphere is warm and the prices are good

My husband got tacos and I got a chimichanga. The food was fresh tasting and overall amazing. The service was excellent and fast and the atmosphere is pleasant and clean.

8/31/23Just left NorteSur spent around $55 not including the tip. I got the Pollo Norteño and my husband got Carne Asada. Along with Empanadas Mexicana and Queso Dip with ground beef. This was our 2nd time there and again they did not disappoint. The waitress was a young girl very pleasant, the food amazing my husband did not talk the whole time because he was to busy enjoying his meal, the atmosphere is nice and clean. After trying another Mexican restaurant and being highly disappointed this will be our go to spot for Mexican food!

The only thing that bothered me about this restaurant especially in a Mexican restaurant they only have one bathroom for the men.

New location is awesome, the shrimp fajita was delicious. The service was fast, place colorful sand happy.

Our waitress Lucy made the whole experience better.she was GREAT! Chicken Flautas were really good, and the fried ice cream. The other items I had were just very bland for my taste, not much seasoning. Free salsa & chips, chips were fresh, salsa had nice kick to it but not really any flavor. There was a group of us so we discussed a 1-10 rating amongst ourselves, and we averaged a 4.5 on that scale. Very nice staff and page was clean. Good company so it was a nice time. Being newly opened I'm sure things will be tweeked once they receive other reviews. Would visit again.

Food was so good and fresh. Got a shrimp fajita taco salad and it had a lot of shrimp in it. Service was fantastic and it was a nice atmosphere. Will be returning again.
