The best staff and they absolutely care about your pets so much. The best vet we’ve been too and so thankful we found them!

The vet techs at NEAH are so patient, compassionate, and understanding of my dog's anxious behavior. I have no doubt that my boy is in good hands when we have an appointment. I will always bring him to NEAH! No better place to go for quality care, guidance, and treatment.

Amazing staff! These humans are angels in scrubs. Recently I called my typical vet in town for an emergency with our Sniffs (pooch). They denied us because he hadn’t been in in two years. These wonderful humans got him in within 15 minutes and were so extremely compassionate. Even tho our Sniffs hadn’t been a patient there they saw him Right away and were so very kind. Before I called North East Animal Hospital I called the Erie emergency vet that my OLD vet recommended, and they wanted to charge me $400 just to see him because he wasn’t a patient… $250 was the “Convenience emergency fee” and $150 just to be seen on top of the $250. At North East Animal Hospital 2 medications and a very thorough emergency examination was $117. Literally the cheapest vet appointment I’ve ever experienced. These people love animals and it shows. Needless to say, Sniffy has found a wonderful, trustworthy, and compassionate veterinarian, and Our family is over the moon about it.

This is the friendliest animal hospital I could ever visit. The Vets and staff are cheerful, kind and considerate. The Vets are very patient and explain things in terms you understand. They work with you and also listen to your thoughts about your pets. My little dog can sometimes be a stinker, but they always welcome her with open arms and a smile! Thank you North East Animal Hospital for being there for all animals big and small - and for the little stinkers too ;-)

We love Dr. Ramsdell he is the best veterinarian in Erie. Our entire family uses his services, Aunts and Uncles, Son and Daughter. Thank You Elsa is doing great!

I have decided to edit my review which was originally very long and very detailed about my horrible experience but I need to forgive and move forward… that being said, it doesn’t change the fact that I would never use you again or allow anyone else I care about to use you as their vet so the one star rating must stay. All I will say is please teach your employees how to handle cats. Also please do not use the reply I’ve seen on other reviews saying you “don’t see the name in your system” they are obviously gmail nicknames and not full names, that is a cop-out and you know it. Instead, just do better and be better.

I had a pet emergency. I have recently moved to the area and could not find a vet near me. Although I had to drive a distance it was worth it. Everyone was kind and took good care of my pet.

I have been going here for years and always had an exceptional experience. The Vets, Techs and staff are all great!

The staff at North East Animal Hospital got my dog in quickly for an ear infection. They were very concerned about her comfort as they treated her. Bonus points for running right on time too!

I didn't not like the vet doc seen today. Very cold, hadno real input or answers and acted like we were wasting herlr time but really liked the other one i had at a previous visit

We love North East Animal Hospital. Dr. Ramsdell is a superior veterinarian. Their staff is caring and takes every precaution to keep our pets healthy. We have worked with them since 1991. Five pets and 32 years later we are still taking our pets there!

The staff and Vets are very helpful & compassionate. I know my pets are in good hands when they visit.

We scheduled an appointment for our new puppy, and they canceled on us 2 weeks in a row due to their Veterinarians having to leave early for personal reasons. Not a great first impression for a new client, especially when new puppy vaccine schedules are involved. I definitely don’t recommend seeking care for your pets here if you wish to have a reliable vet.

The staff was exceptional! Very helpful, pleasant and knowledgeable. Called to check on my kids regularly to see how they were doing and kept me updated throughout procedures. Very thankful for them!

I have my own crew of cats and i also have an everchanging crew of fosters. The wonderful group at North East Animal Hospital always find a way to fit my fosters and my own babies in when there is an emergency or regular appointment needed. They explain things thoroughly and don't mind answering any of my questions. The overall feeling is like going to your family vet.

Dr. Ramsdell and The staff at North East Anima Hospital are wonderful, caring and compassionate! Even though our kitty recently passed away, we wouldn’t think twice about using NEAH again when we adopt our next furry family member!

My little male dog was out of sorts. Got him an appointment for only 4 hours after I called. The Vet and Staff were very good with him, and with me. Excellent overview of exam. Good explanation of needed lab work and wait period for results. Highly recommend!
