North Museum of Nature and Science reviews
16This place is nice, but too small! You only have three rooms, so it can be boring. Also, the astronaut's left arm was coming off.
We took our grandson to the dinosaur exhibit. It's a small Museum, but they did a nice job and he loved the interactive parts.
Lots to see here, but it is small so plan for a visit of an hour or maybe an hour and a half tops.
My 5 year old loved the fossils, bee hive, microscope, live animals, and rocks. They also have a whole section of stuffed birds.
The main floor is more interactive with dinosaurs and kids activities, the basement is where the birds and rocks are, and the third floor only has a small section of coral.
I would definitely take my daughter here again but would wait a little so it still feels new with its size.
Street parking for this museum.
Our boys loved this place! They pack a lot into a small area from the dinosaur exhibit to the live reptiles area. So happy we stopped here, very kind people there and very reasonable prices
Recently went here after hearing about art here while at West Art. Great little museum with dinosaur fossils and a planetarium. What they don't advertise is on the 2nd floor there is a large exhibit of really cool cosmic blacklight paintings by a local artist. Although there are no black lights up there. Still impressive abstract work. Glad I heard about it or I would have never known.
Really fun museum! Very hands-on for kids, as well. The museum has 3 levels to it, and a small gift shop on the main floor. The live animals area was awesome, and they even brought out one of the large monitor lizards to feed and pet!
Went during the dinosaur exhibit, which was cool, but was hoping for more interactive stuff. Overall, this museum is definitely worth checking out!
Nice museum for kids, albeit very small. Only about an hour is needed to see everything (except the planetarium). The Sky Tour show in the planetarium was very enjoyable. In the future, I would just get tickets to the planetarium show because the other exhibits are not worth seeing a second time.
My grandchildren loved it. Hands on activities. A wealth of information is available. Not crazy big like most museums that little kids could get tired walking around in.
Nice place but not very big. I expected more for what we paid. Not much interactive stuff.
It's cute, but you can get the same (or better) experience for free at Bass Pro in Harrisburg, or That Fish Place on Centerville Road.
Seriously mismanaged.
If you're visiting Lancaster, don't go here. It's not worth your trip.
This is a great small museum with lots of interactive exhibits. We spent 1.5 hours at this museum and we used our reciprocal agreement from another membership that we already have to get in for free. Nice front desk staff. Clean facility,
The staff were so friendly and helpful. Brought two service dogs for a training trip and they were amazingly accomadating. A lovely visit with amazing exhibits:)
Loved going there with my school years ago, still great place to visit. Staff is helpful and friendly and know a lot. Enjoy one of the wonderful places in Lancaster. I still have a shirt from there years ago, was a pen and ink illustration with color underlay, very cool.
Great exhibits of fossils, birds, reptiles, and more. Planetarium shows for kids every weekend. Themes change every month. We love it here!
Beautiful museum for science and nature education. My 6 year old granddaughter loves it there so much that my daughter bought a membership. The staff are all so nice. The museum is clean and easy to navigate too!
The most Bird taxidermy’s I’ve ever seen was really cool! Loved looking at all the minerals collected as well!
