Northampton Recreation Center

My children play basketball for NAA and this facility is where they practice. On the very first day of my 8 year old's practice I was screamed at that parents were not allowed in the building! I've never met his coach and my son is shy and I was told I was NOT allowed to walk him to the gym. I was forced to wait in front of the front desk while the employee who yelled at me went to the gym to get a coach. After my son went into the gym, I was told by this same lady that I can wait in the vestibule with my older son until his practice started - which was an hour later. After 20 minutes of waiting in the vestibule, my 12 year old son and I were told we could no longer wait in there and we had to leave. On 2 separate occasions I've witnessed this same employee - a woman - tell a minor child that they could not wait in the building and made them go outside IN THE COLD. SHE TOLD THEM THEY COULD NOT WAIT INSIDE FOR THEIR PARENTS TO COME BACK NOR DID SHE ASK IF THEY HAD A PHONE ON THEM TO CONTACT THEIR PARENTS! I've had other parents tell me they've witnessed the same. Completely unacceptable, unprofessional, and unnecessary!

Great local place to get a good workout. Has a lot of cardio machine, weight machines, and free weights. People of all ages in the community use this place daily. Friendly staff.

Great place I wish it had more equipment and places to stretch but other than that it's a nice clean place.

The employees are very rude and disrespectful, very overpriced to just play basketball, 100% do not recommend.
