5Great place to enter the canal path whether you are walking, running, or biking. Great views. Only complaint would be the potholes on the drive out of the parking lot.
Fine location for accessing the trail. Seamless transition to the D&L trail section heading west from Easton. Good views of the confluence of the Lehigh and Delaware rivers. Also views of a number of old railroad bridges from the heyday of Easton as an important railroad nexus.
The trailhead iust OK because there are no comfort stations. I stopped by to take some pictures and I enjoyed the river views. Next time I come here I will bring my bike. A lot of people were out tdoay, Sunday April 18,2021. There is a parking lot but be careful when leaving. The unpaved road leading out has huge potholes.
A nice long trail that meanders threw woods alongside a river. If you're a little lucky you will run into some cute dogs.
Very nice sunrise place and trail access for the D&L and PA Highlands trail.
