Called around 1: 30 due to my cat having an emergency.was told by shannon to bring him in at 2: 30 (due to the wait). She told me to call upon arrival and they would get him in.when i arrived and explained that i spoke to someone earlier the PRACTICE MANAGER was very rude over the phone and basically told me she had no clue what i was talking about.when i told her i didn’t appreciate the way she was speaking to me she hung up the phone.when i entered and explained to the technician what was going on she was going to get me checked in.that’s when the practice manager refused to get any information out of me for my sick cat.i understand that they are busy but if they simply explained that they had emergencies show up since then, i would’ve completely understood.but instead i was made out to be a liar and was refused service.

Called them n the lady said it'll be 140 to do an exam didn't even get through the doors n the lady was throwing 1000 at me n my wife before she even gave n exam the lady was really rude n auguring with me bc I said that she said 140 I will never recommend this place to anyone nor will I bing another family pet to this money hungry place all they won't is ur money nothing else

I called to ask them about my pregnant dog possibly having Parvo, bc my other dog died from it a few days before. The lady on the phone was so rude and insensitive. I understand being realistic, but telling me to shoot my dog in the head instead of letting her die out is the most disgusting thing another human being could ever say to someone who is already devastated that their pregnant dog is going to not only die but lose her puppies. That lady was so rude and insensitive. And then proceeds to say “well if you don’t have thousands of dollars then we can’t help you. Just disgusting. No empathy whatsoever. Don’t give these people your money.

My daughter who lives alone took her dog to emergency around 2 AM All they wanted was money. $600 before she could take her huskie who was very sick probably with a stroke. She knew it was time to put her to sleep This dog was so sweet all her many years and my daughters best friend. I just wonder if she didn’t have a credit card or money if they would turn her away and just let the dog suffer and die a terrible death. How terrible to treat a person like this. Dogs become like family and tears your heart out when they go then have to be treated like this No compassion at all. I’m sure glad they don’t run a humans emergency room if you can’t pay to walk in let your child die turn you away. This isn’t the first incident that has happened in our family with these people. Too bad you can’t predict the time you would need these people. If they were open during day the bill is $150. Very disgusting. Going to post all over Facebook yelp and state vet association.

Extremely thankful for the care at Northwest PA Pet Emergency Center. Our pup was turned away from our local vet (even though we made an appointment), because they over booked themselves. We went to Northwest PA Pet Emergency Center because her condition got worse and started to become critical. We had to wait awhile to be seen, but it was worth it! The staff took wonderful care of her, gave us updates during her overnight and hosptial stays, and we got a refund for the services they didn't need! The staff were also very kind to me, and I could tell they truly cared about my pup. While I missed having her home, I felt reassured knowing she was getting the best care that she needed at the time. Now she's back home safe, and I can't be more grateful!

SCAM! If you don't have $1000s of cash, DON'T BOTHER THEM! Apparently they put down animals (for a LARGE nominal fee) when they are being CARING.

My daughter and I had to take her Cocker Spaniel to this vet. We arrived at 2: 30 7/2/23, and finaly left at 5: 30. It is 7: 03 and still have not heard from them. He was bleeding from the mouth, and had blood all over her back seat. Now we have to wait until7: 30 to get him in to his vet. We will never use them again, and how unprofessional!

A year and a half ago, my dog Penny suffered an accidental poisoning. I never got a chance to thank the staff for their quick response and incredible care we all received! On July 15 of this year, she succumbed to the affects of the poisoning and we came back to the same place that saved her and gave us the last year and half with her. I was able to thank the staff and allow them to put her at peace. They work long hours through the night to be there in our time of need. Thank you again for all that you do!

Go literally ANYWHERE ELSE.staff is rude, inconsiderate, and they do not have any love for pets or their owners.all they care about is the money.we left without even being seen because i refused to give these people a PENNY after a horrible initial impression from just the DESK STAFF.if you can wait to see your normal vet, i absolutely would.otherwise, do whatever you can to never come here.

Cannot even give a star to this place this is a business for no care of animals! They will try to penny pinch and dry out your pockets for simple fixes and do more than is necessary for the care of the animal. Having to put an animal under to clean a small wound is out right wrong to the owners and pets. They do not follow medical ethics in the way of beneficence in doing good and in selecting the correct and most efficient options. They are also rude and disrespectful to the people who call as they fell bothered for people being animals who need care to them. I do not recommend anyone to go here and hope that they have a change in heart and policy!

There is a whole story I put on fb about this place, called and told me 150 to bring my pup in, I said I don't have it and lady said well I wouldn't wait till Monday, so convinced me to bring him in at 3am mind you from 45 min away, then they did nothing but give me estimates while he sits there in pain getting nothing done and called and told me $560 or they couldn't do it and it had to be paid before we left, which we weren't allowed in building in first place.then said $140 take your dog we can't do anything I said the woman at front desk was well aware I didn't have anything at the moment and was told to bring him anyways.long story short threatened me with abandonment bc they didn't want to even try to help my animal or give me other means of doing so. 0 stars and heartless people all involved

They should have an option for no stars this place is AWFUL! They should not work in this line of business. They have no compassion or empathy. They told us it was our fault for what was happening with our dog and puppy and said we waited to long after taking her the day before and they said everything was “fine. ” 24 hours later it was a nightmare. Your pet could be dying and they would not treat it until you pay them. That is the first thing they want and only concern up front is how you’re paying. With all that being said they were completely wrong about the situation. Avoid going here at all costs go to Buffalo or Pittsburgh if you need to.

On Sunday, May 7, my cat of 13 years suffered from a blood clot that paralyzed his back legs. There was nothing they could do and my cat was in so much pain. They let my husband and I stay in the room the entire time and even after. Everybody was wonderful am I beautiful Scooby is not in pain anymore the young lady Marie, that was taking care of us was amazing and kind, and she honestly helped me get through such a tough time so I want to take the time to say thank you to Marie, because she is definitely an amazing caring young lady.

First time client.they were a higher price but well worth it. I truly believe they saved trackers life.took us in on priority.kept me informed about what they were doing.at the end of the day I brought him home.highly recommend.

I feel bad leaving a negative review for any local business but this place is only out for themselves. How much do you have to work with? Is their typical response to how much money do you have to spend! Stay away unless you have no other alternative. There is absolutely a reason why they score so low on reviews!

Kind people. My poor Carl passed away Monday morning in my arms on the way to the Emergency Center. He was dead on arrival, and they handled the incident with grace. Four stars because it's hard to rate my experience as being "pleasant, " as you might understand.
