Norwood House Apartments reviews
6Would give zero stars if i could. Eventually i will create a super long review but for now just know to stay away from this place.
This company has gone above and beyond to make this move easy for my family. Their deposit is reasonable (the first I’ve experienced that didn’t make you cough up another month’s rent). Everything was so nicely set up for us and their staff is welcoming, efficient, and helpful. In the age of absurd rent, they give a reasonable price for a beautiful place with perks that are fantastic.
We really appreciate Melissa. She was great. We look forward to a long working relationship. Thank you so much.
Now 8 months here we couldn't be happier with the maintenance response anywhere from unclogging a toilet to reglazing the tub. Other complexes have issues with their maintenance staff, but here they really seem to care about being professional!
Overall, the square feet you get for the price compared to local complexes is great. I never heard of a 1 bedroom apartment with 4 closests; 1 being a walk-in closest in the bedroom.
Such a nice place to live so far!
I’ve lived here for almost a year and have had nothing but a positive experience. The leasing office is very communicative and any minor maintenance requests I’ve had to make were immediately taken care of. I enjoy this community.
If you must rent there are plenty Reasons to choose Norwood. Although not by much, it is less expensive then other places in the area. It’s not fancy and could use some very basic upgrades, but it is comfortable, close to everything and it has a beautiful pool. The office staff is exceptionally accommodating and friendly. The maintenance staff is excellent and timely.
Be aware though, they just instituted this new policy with the water and sewage usage. You will be charged monthly now for water and sewer that you don’t use. These are unmetered utilities, therefore the total usage is split between all the tenants in each building. Obviously this is an unfair policy. It may not be illegal, but it certainly isn’t fair and has indications of gouging. To raise the rent every single year, then add those two utilities after fifty or so years seems unconscionable. This a huge concern for people on fixed incomes. They could have easily avoided all the controversy by raising rents by five more bucks and not saying anything. They raise rents every year by way too much and without any visible or practical amenities. I believe that could be a result of poor upper management which should be an easy enough fix. Something similar to the government! So other then those few things, i do like it here.
