I absolutely loved the care and attention that I received from Nostalgic Eye Care. Dr. Herring and the staff were the epitome of excellence. The atmosphere is clean, comfortable and feels like home. I felt like I was in an episode of Cheers where “everybody knows my name. ”
Everyone has a warm and welcoming personality. It felt like a family reunion and none of us are related! Nostalgic Eye Care is a blessing to all who go there. I’ve never been treated so well at any other eye care place. I am convinced that Nostalgic Eye Care is abundantly blessed by God.

Had an absolutely wonderful experience here this past summer. Dr. Herring and his staff were friendly and so easy to work with. I still can't get over how fast my glasses came in!

I went as one of my first post lock down appointments, and they did not disappoint. I feel the doctor was very thorough, as I did tests with him I never did with other eye doctors. They went through all of my concerns. Everything was very clean, and it's very spacious! The desk staff is very nice as well. I will definitely be going back, and I'm so happy to support a great black owned business! Thanks guys.

Nostalgic Eye Care! Where do I start? The establishment is beautiful; something about the location when you’re in there on a sunny day & the sun just shines in so gracefully lol. Their customer service is amazing! I don’t remember her name, but there was a lovely woman who helped me pick & choose my glasses, she gave me suggestions and really made me feel great about my choice, which I absolutely LOVE! Their selection is wonderful, might I mention. As well as the care of Dr. Herring, he’s great!

The staff was very nice but not the doctor he kept asking me if I had any concerns about my eyes I said no and then out of nowhere he insulted me by telling me how my eyes are two different sizes I never ask for his opinion about my eyes I just wanted to buy new glasses he said the best thing you can do is just get surgery it was very unprofessional

Dr. Herring is very thorough, and went above and beyond to ensure I was completely satisfied with my contact lens prescription. They also have a great selection of eye glasses. I will certainly return for all of my eye care needs!

Great Customer service. Anyone is helpful and the Dr. Herring is very informative. I've been coming to the office for a couple of years. I've never had a problem with my prescription. I can see clearly now the blurr is gone LOL

I just called to schedule an exam with Nostalgic Eye Care; they get such amazing reviews by former clients! I asked what the COVID protocols were in the office and was told that I have to wear a mask. I asked if it was protocol that their staff be vaccinated and was told by the very friendly person that I spoke with on the phone that they were not vaccinated. What a bummer. I will seek care elsewhere.

I had such a great experience at Nostalgic Eye Care. Not only did the staff take care of all of my immediate needs but they did a great job of discussing my overall eye health and what I should be ready for in the future. From the moment I walked in the door, for the first time ever, I was greeted by very friendly staff. They showed patience and made some great recommendations while helping me find a pair of frames that compliments my facial structure.
