Notch Eight is such a cute location. Chill vibes, great service, and great food!
They have some really good cocktails. I got "The Dude" tasted like an iced coffee, but of course, with alcohol. YUM!

Gluten free people: nothing is advertised as being GF, but if you ask the staff you might get lucky! This margarita pizza was made with a cauliflower crust and everything about it was delicious. They use faber liquors for their espresso martini so I got one and it is ranked high on my favorite list.
Would recommend stopping in if you’re lucky enough when they aren’t packed out!

Great service and food plus a great vibe. The worst part is that this place occasionally gets Philly trash, but they can be avoided.

We stopped in here for lunch on our recent trip to Jim Thorpe. This place was very nice and charming. The food and drinks were great too. We ordered the truffle fries, Korean boa buns, and the BLTA tacos. Everything tasted great. The only downside that I saw while eating here was that they are too pet friendly for us. I don't know what their actual policy is, but I understand if there are seats outside and you have your dog with you. But while we were eating, another couple came in with their great dane and sat near us at the bar. The dog was behaved and didn't bark or anything. But it was right in the walkway, having to step aground it to use the restroom. But it kept staring at us almost the whole time, making us uncomfortable, and we didn't stay for another drink.

This place had nooo business being this amazing! We were expecting regular bar food when we happened upon this place but it was anything but! We ordered the chicken and waffle sandwich, blta tacos, pizza plate, and blueberry lemon meringue pie sour and it was THE BEST food I’ve ever tasted. The atmosphere is so cozy and inviting as well.

Not really sure how this place is so highly rated because everything was subpar: food, service, and cleanliness. The tacos were drenched in sauce, not really sure of the flavor, couldn't really pinpoint it. The pork belly in the tacos was probably deep fried because it was burnt to an unrecognizable crisp. The burger was drenched in sauce too and tasted sort of slimy and mushy All the tables and floors were sticky and gross. Had to hunt down a waiter to order food and then look for someone again when the food was taking forever. Really wanted to like this place but definitely not coming here again: (

The food is amazing! Just visited for the first time and the service was prompt and friendly! Bar had cool steam punk aesthetic. The drinks were awesome! But the food was out of this world! Delicious! Can’t wait to come back and try everything on the menu!

Drinks are awesome, food is awesome (I got pb&j tacos, my finace got BLTA tacos). The red headed woman behind the bar (sorry I didn't get her name!) apologized for the wait (there wasn't any) and thanked us a million times for our patience (again, there was no wait she was a rock star). We are visiting Jim Thorpe from NJ and visited notch 8 both nights we were in town. We will be back anytime we are in the area!

Fantastic drinks, excellent food, friendly staff, and an overall great vibe! Can't wait to go back. Highly recommend.

Christine recommended the smash burger with the local craft beer the chicken, bacon, ranch flavor and what a delicious combo! The udon noodle and the Brussel sprouts all very flavorful. I highly recommendation this place for anyone visiting Jim Thorpe

A Diamond in the rough, row house converted to a restaurant & bar. Liz our server bartender was exceptional in her ability to handle a large crowd and make us feel she’s got us covered.

Small pub with good food and decent service. Salads, broccolini in this case, were tasty, though a bit small. Brussels were solid and well portioned.

Service was good, but not excellent. This was partly due to the intense busy-ness when I went by. Servers were scrambling to meet the demand.

10 outta 10 would recommend. The universe pulled us like a magnet. May the wind be at your back may the road rise to meet you. Thank you for hanging out today Lee. I know your boy needs you now.

Good vibes! Good place. Had to wait 10 mins for seating. Gets pack during the weekends so watch out for that. Apart from that, great beer and wonderful refreshing cocktail.

10/10 recommend this place! Amazing drinks food and service! Any person who leaves a bad review for Notch Eight is an idiot. My husband and I will definitely be back!

Greatest little place in JT! It is small, but think Cheers bar! The empoare the greatest and the food is very creative and too-notch!
Highly recommend the street corn ribs, tacos (any) and wings, but thats all we had our first trip!

Delisous pbnj tacos. Amazing wings. My campfire drink Amazing. The service superb. The fact that it's open weekdays and late 10 star.

We stayed in Jim thorpe for a 3 day weekend and loved this place so much we went both days. We didn't have food here, so I can't judge that. But I do have to say Erin the bartender was AMAZING. She was so personable and had us entertained the whole time we were there. The cocktails were so delicious. My husband's favorite was the campfire old fashion and my favorite was the spicy watermelon! Highly recommend this stop while you are in jim thorpe!

What a great place in the heart of Jim Thorpe. Great local beer selection if you're a craft beer fan! The food was amazing! We had the Philly Pork sandwich and the chicken tacos, were amazing. The bartender was terrific will definitely be coming back to try more of their food!
