Nottingham Insurance, Yardley PA

Nottingham and Peter Toft came recommended from a friend but after a year I not only got no value out of going with Nottingham, but it actually caused me a lot of frustration, wasted time, and money.

Peter was initially helpful in finding slightly cheaper car, floor, and homeowners insurance but after a year, our premiums almost tripled for flood insurance. I found out by mail from the carrier, not Nottingham. I proactively called and emailed Peter about it and a month went by without any action. Then my mortgage company frustratingly paid the new skyrocketed premiums while I was waiting for a response. When I follow up a month later, Peter asked me if I could share quotes with him that I got myself. What's the point of an insurance broker if they're not going to be available to help you or let you pay thousands more than you should?

I ended up just getting my own quotes and paid for everything myself. Because I spent too long waiting on Peter, I ended up being forced to pay for an expensive lender-provided insurance plan to cover an 8-day gap in coverage due to Nottingham's delays.

This was the first time working with an insurance broker and overall I was really disappointed. Although Peter was always friendly and professional, he was very difficult to get ahold of and I had to reach out several times, every time, to make changes or get questions answered. I expect a broker to not only be available, but also be proactive and notify me about significant price increases or policy changes. At the end he was willing to let me pay thousands more than I needed to.

I had the pleasure of working with Monique Dufresne to secure new insurance policies after experiencing a MASSIVE premium hike from our previous company (Liberty). Monique carefully reviewed our existing policies & made insightful recommendations as to improving coverages while keeping it affordable and ultimately less costly than the new rate with our previous company. AND she accomplished this having a hard deadline as our policy was to renew in only 2 weeks from the day I initially contacted her! Very happy with our decision!

So I asked them for a quote. I got my loss runs and sent them my policy of what I needed. After months and several emails, no response. I wouldn't wast my time. Just saying.

We love Nottingham and the service we receive from them. I would not go anywhere else for my Insurance concerns.

Mary Harchik has been servicing all of my insurance needs for the past 5 years. Mary is easy to reach, and understands all the details I need when renewing my coverages. Mary especially works quickly to finish paperwork, so I can pass it onto the facilities that need to see the evidence of our coverage.

Monique Dufresne was excellent. She was very knowledgeable, personable and willing to spend the necessary time with me to understand my options and payment plans for all of our insurance needs (home, auto and umbrella). I highly recommend her.

Andrew meinster will be the worst agent you could ever come across as far as insurance. He's 100% about his check and will leave you out to hang if you ever have a claim arise. This comment will probably be removed by his team but It is documented and posted. Highly recommend looking elsewhere for insurance for anything. Love how they keep pushing my review to bottom and taking my text away pathetic group of people. Yall will be exposed
