NTB-National Tire & Battery, Mechanicsburg PA

I used to like going to NTB for different services and tires. Sadly, no more. A while back I took my wife’s car there. They ended up essentially trying to upsell services that weren’t needed to the point I was freaking out the car was about to die. I ended up going to my local mechanic who I trust implicitly. What was going to be a $2000-3000 bill at NTB was a $500 bill with my mechanic (NTB was tripling the costs of some things) without lots of needless work, plus work was pointed out to be a manufacturer defect/recall. Though the service manager at NTB was extremely nice, polite, etc. I felt our best interests weren’t aligned.

They we so polite and nice. Clearly outlined the scope of work required and provided updates when they saw an issue with one the my existing tire sensors.

While I was looking for ASE certified repair center to use third party protection coverage to replace Drive Shaft assembly, I have luckily found NTB and Denny (Service Manager). Denny was very polite and attentive from the beginning until the job gets done. He has excellent team of technician to listen to you first and inspect the car and share the detail about the issues and solution to fix them. Though there were too much of paperwork/phone call follow up with insurance company, he was patience through out the process and updated me what was going on. Thank you Denny & NTB for your great service.

The employees are Very friendly and always very helpful! I have been coming here for years! Today I had the pleasure of meeting skott and he is just as pleasant as everyone else here. I would highly recommend NTB in mechanicsburg!

They nicer n gave me discount what we need for our Hyundai Santa Fe which it always expensive and they r lower for us

Great customer service. Appointments are kept and timely, and they offer a wide array of services and options. The work they do is always completed on time and correctly. I would recommend ntb to anybody who cares about their car!

No communication between branches. Was at NTB on Jonestown Tuesday and tried to get tires replaced. Didn't have them in stock and error was happening when mechanic tried to order from warehouse. After sitting in the office on Jonestown guy called up Carlisle location and talked to them about me coming in Friday to get tires replaced. And they agreed since they have the tires in stock. So I get there today they act like they don't know what is going on and then proceeds to tell me oh you don't have an appt and we can't install today. Complete waste of time.

I came in to replace a dead battery and I received excellent service, quick turnaround time and it was reasonably priced as well!

On a number of times Scott at this office has followed thru in making sure my son and I are safe on the road. They are honorable, honest, and fair. The DM is also named Scott and is a phenomenal manager! He would be someone I would want to work for because of his ethic and diplomacy! Their professionalism in business and quality of work is above the norm these days!

Nick and Scott were very professional from the initial contact to the time I left the building. Both seemed very knowledgeable. I will definitely come back.

I’ve never been to an NTB but I’ve been having some tire issues and was able to get a quick appointment over here… I really couldn’t be happier with my experience. Nick and his team are so helpful, honest, and went above and beyond what was just a simple tire change by letting me know about some issues they noticed. I won’t be going anywhere else!

I would recommend getting estimates in writing. My husband received an estimate over the phone by one rep from NTB. I called and received a different quote from a different rep and was told that the tires requested may not even be included in the Black Friday Special. I was very confused. My Lexus Dealer quoted a price $30.00 more than NTB. When I told NTB they replied that they could do much better. When all was said and done I saved $22.00 by going to NTB. Their womens rest room was dirty. The toilet seat was very much in need of repair. The chairs in the waiting room were falling apart and the trash can was full. It was only 10: 30 AM. I may have saved $22.00. (Although I may be wrong, I’m still waiting. I was told 1 and 1/2 hours. I’ve been here 2 hours so far.). Sometimes what seems like a deal - isn’t.

Great place to take your car for your tires and car needs. Staff is courteous and they get you in and out the door quickly. Great prices as well! Definitely got a repeat customer here!
