Nu Style Entertainment Complex, Philadelphia PA

My friend had an event here, to start off I didn’t like that the place had too many stairs but that can be overlooked. The owner was helpful in certain ways. However, he lacks some forms of professionalism the event was 4 hours and the owner started cleaning up 3 hours into the event gathering things stating that the party goers needed to be out by 7 due to him having to go pick up his grandson (something no one needed to know) In my opinion if someone is paying to rent your space for 4 hours they should be able to get the full 4 hours, 2 hours to set up 1 hour to break down! He was rushing the party goers yelling a countdown and stating lights off at 7 everyone was scrambling around trying to gather food and decorations up by 7 it was horrible and unprofessional. I would never rent from a place as such or recommend. He could’ve went about things different, and he should probably include an hour breakdown because it seems like he’s not allowing people their full 4 hours for their event. Also the place needs some major updating it has potential.

My go to location for hosted Eagles Football game day celebrations, fish fry, all you can eat crabs, gospel comedy and much, much more. Comfortable, positive environment. Always good vibes!

I have been knowing the owner of Nu Style Entertainment Complex for over 20 years. I have not known him to anything but kind hearted loving caring man of class and integrity. I can say (without a stitch of bias) that those same attributes shine through and reflect in the way he conducts business and operatedls his venue. I've hosted a couple of events and attended various other events at the Nu Style Entertainment Complex and the service and experience has been consistently the same, safe, neat, clean, and well organized. He is not the type of venue owner who just collects money and leaves you hanging. He handles his customers with care and round the clock hospitality; he will go above and beyond to make sure his customer and their guest have a great, fun, safe experience in his place! I would highly recommend the Nu Style Entertainment Complex to anyone looking for a venue to host an event.

Outstanding venue outstanding staff and perfect place or pretty much any of that you can bring your own booze and they even took care of me a white guy like a prince fivestars telling the projector guy sent you for a free bottle of Dom

This place was great! The owner was very hands on, professional, welcoming, and flexible. He noticed we was short staffed setting up the event and offered to help set up. He also helped us breakdown the event and clean up the trash, on top of the fact that he had security at the door making my guest and I feel safe coming to the event and leaving. Lastly, the space itself was great! It had plenty of space, tv’s, and over all clean environment. Couldn’t ask for anything more, we truly enjoyed ourselves and plan on booking again.
