Nurture Spa

My therapists were superb and I had a blissful day. One particular stand out was my manicure and pedicure with Nicole, she is meticulous and lovely.

My partner splurged on a spa day for me and him due to the location and reviews of the spa. Unfortunately, the splurge ($910 to be exact), was not what we envisioned and we left sorely disappointed.

We scheduled facials and a couples massage. We both agree, our facials were great. He received a custom facial while I opted for the medical deluxe hydro glow facial. I was left impressed by Gabby’s skill set and knowledge.

However, this is where our joyful experience ended. Our couples massage was part atrocious and part okay. Since we had two LMT’s, the massages we received were different despite being in the same room as each other.

My partner commented that his massage was okay, not worth the hype, but he left somewhat relaxed. Mine was not even close to that description. I specifically stated I had pain in my lower back, near my tailbone, when we started. However, my lower back, back upper quads, thighs, hips and buttocks were left untouched. The whole reason to relax and nothing was remotely done. When I said something after we were finished that none of those spots that I mentioned had not been touched, I got a reply of “try and ice it tonight. ”

Excuse me? ! The point of a massage is for me to not have to ice, soak, use a heat pad, etc, on the sorest points of my body and to relax.

I knew my partner was upset that this was our experience but also that this was an acceptable response by the Spa.

When we went to check out, the receptionist kept saying we owe $1110 until we broke down our charges and asked where the extra was coming from. No apology for miscalculation or her adamantly declaring we were miscalculating. Instead, we got brushed off and told “thanks for coming! ”.

Overall, if you are expecting quality service, I would be careful what you chose and stay closer to the Med Spa services. If you want to just spend time in a pretty ambience and have a massage that could easily pass as a massage from a mall chair, then this is the place for you.

Love this spa so much! The location is beautiful and the building and services are so relaxing and rejuvenating.

I've been going to Kim for manicures for over a year now. She's the best! Her professionalism and dedication for her customers are remarkable. On top of that she's a great person. I am a fan.

When I got home my face was as dry and dehydrated as before my facial. It took me a little while to understand why, but my esthetician did not use any steam. So none of the high quality products could actually penetrate the surface of my skin. My skin actually felt so congested and dirty after the facial that I have another facial scheduled today at a skin studio in Newton. I had asked for a specific esthetician who came highly recommended because I am dealing with very specific skin issues and wanted someone who was very experienced and was told she was not available but this one was just as good. It became very clear to me my esthetician was very inexperienced. She either forgot to use steam or chose not to. In either case it was a significant error and I would have had the same results using a sheet mask at home for significantly less money. I am incredibly disappointed in Nurture spa, especially after explaining my maturing skin needs to the front desk and being told I was getting an expert esthetician. This certainly was not true. I was shoe horned in when I was absolutely willing to wait to fill up a schedule rather than to have my request met. I’m sure this place is lovely if you’re staying for the weekend and just want a spa treatment. But if you are looking for a specific skin care need, perhaps let this place go.

The services are incredible and its just overall a peaceful vibe.i fall asleep in that pedicure chair every time! Cole is so sweet and gentle.

My massage therapist Lucy was amazing. It was a great experience and I am a tough critic on massages. My only suggestion would be hooks by the steam room for robes!

I treated myself to a multi-treatment spa day at New Hope’s Nurture spa last week. My expectations were high, but the treatment team there exceeded all of them! My massage therapist, Tricia, followed my specific requests in every detail. My nail tech, Kim, left me with gorgeous fingers and toes, and entertained me with lighthearted chat throughout. And the facial! OMG, the facial! My esthetician, Chelsea, dealt with multiple problems caused my neglect with kindness and a comprehensive knowledge of what my poor dehydrated skin needed. I honestly looked five years younger when she was finished with me!

Notice most of the reviews focus on how pretty the place is, not on how good the massage was. If you want a therapeutic deep tissue massage, this is not your place. If you want to be basted in oil like a turkey, then Nuture is the spa for you.

I love this spa! The vibes are so nice there and all the workers are extremely nice and the establishment is so pretty!

I chose Nurture SPA for the first time for my daughter and myself years ago, and many other special occasions in our lives. I was impressed not only with its location but the facility is beautiful. They arranged parking for its guests which is a massive convenience if you know New Hope at the Logan Inn, right across the street. I have enjoyed a few facials at the spa, with Chelsea she is terrific! And plan to return as often as I can.

Jill and Kim are the best! By far the best pedicures I have ever had- very relaxing and always look great!

Theresa was excellent massage therapist. The room and showers were clean and fresh. The sitti groom is very comfy. The staff were all very gracious.
