Octapharma Plasma, Whitehall PA

The person who stuck me did not take their time and was rushing through the process. Both my arms are messed up and i cant donate for 56 days. I have been donating at the Whitehall, PA location for many years without a single issue, being stuck by many different people. Not sure if I ever want to come back after that experience

The Staff at Octapharma were very pleasant and I was surprised at how fast the intake process took.

So I at first thought this was a good place to donate cause of the money in the beginning. But I was wrong. My first month I was weighing in at 143 never went up or down in weight and was getting 610ML of plasma taken from my body and was receiving $65 every 2 days right. Ok now my weight hasn’t changed but my payment has and the amount they take. So just last week I went in a weighted 143 lbs so I should get $55 I still got paid $40 but they take out almost 700ML and paid me less. You’re taking more out of me and paying me less ……. This place is crooked and faulty. And I was told by an employee there that they should pay us more knowing how much they make off of our plasma that our body’s makes. It’s roughly around $3,500 for every plasma container we supply them with and we as the donors only get $40 bucks when my body is making something you need and your gonna pay me $40 and keep over $3 grand this is the same at every donation center. You’ve been warned and told the truth. Please everyone stop donating to these places it truly isn’t worth it.stay woke and god bless us all.

Arenell is the best she sticks me good every time! I think she should get a raise. It's always a pleasure when I come to donate when she is here. I'll recommend her to anyone.

I'm giving a 5 star and would give more if I could. The wait can be tough at times depending when going but overall everybody has been great. I love how the techs that are sticking are always improving their technique. I have loved seeing Kendra since I've been going. She has been a delight every single time. And Alycia is also very wonderful. She always is pleasant and very sweet. She has gotten very good at sticking that tonight she stuck me and she said start pumping and I said, wait you already stuck me? ! I didn't even feel it! A+. And always the staff is friendly. I have learned that they are one big family and treat the clients as such too. Zach has been one of my favorites as well. And even though Shawn moved to the lab, we still have a very friendly joking time every time I see him. Thanks again to all of you!

I really love this place! It's super clean and the workers are always nice and they always make me smile! Aaron is also one of my favorite "stickers" he's always nice, cracking jokes and makes sure you have what you need! Awesome Team!

I get lightheaded all the time when the saline solution is about to come through and the workers are very attentive to when I flag someone down to help me out, they stay with me till I feel better, get ice packs, gatorade, they are friendly. I appreciate them!

Terrible place to go when donating. Didn't place the needle right the first 2 times so they had to go to my other arm and it took them 2 trys on my other arm! Wouldn't recommend this place unless you want sore and bruised arms!

I love it here! Angel is one of my favorite screeners. She's so polite, efficient, and knowledgeable. Overall the facility is always clean and I love how the staff make you feel very welcome and comfortable. Thanks Octapharma!

This center has been a welcome change from the other donor sites. More relaxed, less drama. The phlebotomists have been engaging and have all been painless. Kudos to the staff for making it a pleasure to donate and help in my small way.

Friendly staff. Clean environment and very professional. The staff were well knowledged and able to answer any questions.

I have been going a while and while I find all the staff to be diligent and friendly I particularly like Danielle's courtesy and willingness to help. She is exemplary.

The center I use has gone through recent changes in personnel so perhaps wait times will go down. The staff is friendly and professional despite not being well informed of upper management’s changes not being clearly shared with staff. Still all in all, better than the other guys!
