Japanese Restaurant Oishi reviews
18Absolutely delicious appetizers.that’s why i give 5 stars.try the dok bok ki if you live spicy foods and the fried edamame dumplings are next level.
Best sushi in the area! Love this place. They also have great Korean dishes. I always experience friendly and attentive customer service every time I come here.
I'm never dispointed at Oishi, food and service are always great! If there's a line and it's busy don't worry it's worth the wait you'll always leave happy!
Whole order was wrong, gave me the wrong fish, added cucumber when asked not to, also forgot to add brown rice when asked and forgot my extra sauce. Very nice staff though.
I’m at the point where I just feel the need to write a review regarding the fact that they just never answer the phones. Every time I try to call (sometimes even 4 or 5 times before giving up), they either don’t answer or you wait on hold for 10 minutes.
It’s a great restaurant. They just need to correct this issue.
Oishi is an extremely good Japanese/Thai/Korean restaurant with very reasonable prices. The landlords of the shopping center where the restaurant is located, however is trying their hardest to put this restaurant, and other shops alongside it, out of business by restricting access, parking and even foot traffic with obstructions and construction.
Very nice atmosphere, there for other people were having looked good. I and my companion both had the Japanese curry, and though the flavor was very nice it was extremely watery which disappointed me. It was more like a soup and putting it on the rice waterlogged it. Everything else was very good though, might just be one bad dish or day for the cook.
Sorry imitation of Japanese food. Rice tasted like it was “recycled” and sushi did not look appetizing and did not tasted right. Miso soup was watered down to almost nothing.
Service was lacking as well. Overall quite a poor experience.
Always fresh and delicious sushi. Saturday night is always a wait, so now I make sure to make reservations in advance.
Food tasted awful and was way too expensive. Save your money and tastebuds, go to Osaki in feastervlle.
First time there last night. It was Monday and packed! Didn't expect that. Foid was great. Service was good, considering they were slammed. I'd go back. Thought prices were reasonable. It's a BYOB. You can pick up alcohol right at the Acme around the corner from the restaurant. Enjoy!
Amazing food! They have a pretty extensive menu so you'll find something for everyone. I had the chicken coconut curry and it was really good! Would have been five stars but the service was slow. BYO so bring something to drink:)
We have been to KO numerous times and always have an amazing experience. This was our 1st time at Oishi, KO's sister restaurant, and it was the best. Service and food is outstanding.
We usually eat lunch here on Thursdays since my son has extended preschool on that day. I come here with my husband and 1 year old daughter. The service and food is great. I get the vegetable pancake for my daughter and she likes the miso soup. We love the gopdol- bibimbap served in a hot pot. I hated Korean food until I came to this restaurant. Now I try to recreate the dishes at home. They have high chairs and they are BYOB. Lunch is kid friendly because it is not too crowded. I would save dinner time for date night. Their sister restaurant KO has the same food plus a bar. It is in the strip mall across the street.
I’ve never seen so many do take out at a restaurant. Why? The place is usually booked and the food is always great
Very tasty. Had the spring rolls & Chicken satay for apps. Both were excellent. For our main course we had Chef Sae’s Special Roll-Tuna, Salmon, Yellowtail. And Spicy Crunchy Tuna Roll, Dragon Roll and the Spider Roll. All were amazing and we went away full. BYOB.
Ordered a lunch special. My dish was tasty but rice was cold and chicken was barelly warm. Otherwise it is a nice resonably priced place with good food
