Old English Pizza reviews
19Mother watering pizza. I love the cheese, friendly staff, I'm a regular and don't plan to stop
I am here atleast 3 times, probably 4 times a week because my kid loves their pizza so much. Their pizza is really good and they use quality ingredients. Me and my gf love their steak cut fries, but not just any steak cut fries.it's gotta be pizza steak cut fries with wiz on top of the mozzarella. They are the best! The counter girls are always busy but find time to help customers. They are awesome and polite. The dine in area is also very clean and you can eat in and grab a beer with your pizza. My preference, Stella Artois and they also have a few more in bottles. We love this place!
The worst Cheesesteak hoagie I ever had in my life. Got a half sliced of tomato maybe 8 or 9 strands of lettuce and maybe five strands of raw onion. Meat was overcooked and dried out it was actually black. Worst sandwich makers in Bridesburg.
The pizza was horrid. The customer service too. I was on the phone for 5 mins+ and no1 answered was speaking with me even tho i could hear the workers talk
For starters I love Old English Pizza and strombolis however the delivery drivers are not the best of the bunch most of the time my bag is totally to the side my pizza's this I just can't take it anymore I have to share this one. Pizzas aren't supposed to be carried to the side.
I was going to get 3 pizza's. The menu says a large is $10, my total came up to $51. I did ask for extra cheese on the pizza's so are toppings $8 per pie?
For the price you pay a little more steak would be great, 2 stars as my girlfriends chicken tender wrap was good.
I live in williamstown NJ, and if I ever want a Stromboli I run right to Old English. They are the BEST! The counter girls that were there tonight (3/17/22 @ 10: 00pm) were the nicest most welcoming so professional and so sweet. Unfortunately I only had four $1 bills on me and I tipped them that’s but wish I had more because they deserved so much more! THEY ROCK! The Stromboli was awesome also.lol
This place is usually my go to pizza shop. Called today to order & was told they don’t deliver that far, which I’m not even a mile away. I just ordered from them a few days ago & have been for the last 8 years faithfully. I asked to speak with the manager to find out what changed within a matter of days—I mean, I’m thinking maybe 1 of the delivery drivers got robbed ️, however he wouldn’t come to the phone. I’m never ordering from them ever again.
The menu has shrunk significantly and the prices have sky rocketed Exponentially! Never will I order from here again!
Just moved into the area not long ago and this was my 5th time ordering from here. On Point! Food here is banging and the people that work there are nice and they are clean. Just got done eating a pizza from them and it was so good I had to leave this review. It was like I said, "on point. " Sauce and cheese perfectly balanced on a light and crisp crust that's fkin P phenomenal. Simple and done right. Prices are good too and they got beer.
I usually grab a cheesesteak.hoagie to go which is always really good, today I got the cheeseburger deluxe and HOLY F**K it was HUGE and delicious! That's my new go-to from now on!
Ordered food from here and was eating, I felt something weird in my mouth and took it out and I found a piece of plastic in my food.
Not good for delivery food was delivered ice cold. I admit the food hear is amazingly great.
After what I just witnessed what their delivery driver recklessly & carelessly did just so he could rush to park illegally across from the pizza store, has me absolutely disgusted. Not only did he run the red light on Richmond St by flying at a high rate of speed through the parking lot of the mini gas station diagonally across from the pizza shop, but he also shot out onto Orthodox St into the on coming traffic lane, cut in front of the vehicle that was making a left onto Richmond St coming from Bath St direction & almost hit the vehicle making the left onto Richmond St coming from Edgemont direction. All that just so he could park illegally in a spot that would block the Septa buses from making their left turns into Richmond St as well. The driver not once thought about the lives of anyone else on the road. If you choose to order from this place & you get a delivery driver in a light grey mini van, I would suggest you not even tip him since he likes to endanger other people's lives.
GREAT small pizza's and food in general! I'm not a huge pizza person but for some reason I love me a tasty small plain or small white w/ broccoli. Since moving to Bridesburg I was sad I would no longer be able to get delivery from my original favorite pizza shop. Thankfully I found Old English and they fulfill those occasional pizza cravings just like my previous shop. I'm looking forward to trying more menu items as time progresses and we order out more. We ate still new to the neighborhood but definitely pick Old English over Renzi's any day!
I like this place their pizza isn't the pizza I usually go for but when I want a pan pizza I'll go here all the other good is great try the wings
On 7/23/21 I went to Old English Pizza. I wanted a hamburger but not a double pattie. The girl said I could have one pattie. So I ordered one pattie on my burger and tomatoes and pickles. On the menu A hamburger is $6.50 (this is for a double patty burger). I was charged $6.75. I don't understand why I was charged $0.25 more for this burger when the menu price clearly says $6.50. I was then charged $0.50 for the tomatoes when the picture clearly has full size slices of tomatoes on the burger. The tomatoes on my burger were the ends of the tomato and not full sized slices. I seemed to have been overcharged by $0.25 for a one patty burger. Was this a charge for not including one patty on my burger? That is ridiculous. I will never again go back to this place especially to order a burger.
Love most of the food. But they always undercook the fries. One way around that is order the steak cut fries. They cook them perfect
