Old Village Inn Restaurant reviews
18The onion soup was so salty I couldn't eat it. My best guess is it was old/had been sitting a long time. The fried cheese moons where what you would expect (fried mozzarella cheese in a half circle shape). Drinks were too pricey for the setting ($12 for a gin and tonic). On the good side, the bartender is friendly. Service was good.
If I could give zero stars I would. We came in with my family…. My two children ordered chicken fingers off of the kids menu that was directly given to them… and pointed to the kids menu as they ordered. When the bill came out, we were charged the full adult meal price.an $8 difference per meal in price. When we nicely challenged it, the staff refused to change it. My kids could not even eat half of it. What a complete waste and rip off. Anyone who does business like that should be ashamed of themselves.it is also dumpy in the restaurant…it smelled like smoke, was dirty and likely not cleaned in years, the bathroom was just gross and the food not great either…we will not be back!
This place has mad potential, absolute great location right down the street from a hotel and a casino, right off the highway exit.
I went on a Saturday at 5, crowd was old men. ATM didn’t work, it looked like it did but no money came out, haven’t been charged yet
Roll for roast beef seemed a bit stale, could be some weird bread
I enjoyed seeing the female bartenders converse but it just feels like the management and/or owners are checked out. This place is screaming for new and engaged partners.
I thought this was going be a fancy place, but it’s basically a dive bar (nothing wrong with that, but this place could be so much more)
Great dinner and wonderful service. There was a lot of unique things about this place that were very welcoming. Can’t say thank you enough for the atmosphere and personality.
Convenient to PA Tpk, Lunch was excellent, especially the open face turkey sandwich. Service was very friendly and efficient!
I had the scallops and shrimp scampi on a Friday night special. It was one of the best scampi I've had
I met my wife here. The atmosphere, service and food has always been spot on. We always loved the Friday and Saturday karaoke with great friends. We will always make a point to stop in here when we are in the area.
Good food, reasonable prices. Service was great. Rest rooms were horrible though, very dirty and smelled badly. Parking is limited.
Tanner, our server was great! He was very personable and had a great sense of hummer! Other staff was good too.
1st visit and it was great! Will definitely be back. Atmosphere and staff were very nice and food was awesome!
Older restaurant /bar scene, the hand carved roast beef was so good between Medium Rare to Medium with horseradish. Service was excellent. The mixed drink was made just right.
First time here. Food was excellent and our waitress was always available and helpful. Will be back

Just Do it! Thx.
It was slow probably because it was a week day and lunch. But it was nice. Needs aired out, stale cig smoke from when they did allow smoking. But our server Bambi was really sweet! I had a crispy chicken caesar salad and my hubby had French onion soup. We were never there before but will definitely visit again
This is a cozy little place with a warm atmosphere, good food and friendly service! Try the cheeseburgers theyre delicious!
I've want to go here for years. Every time I come through this town I say. This is it, I'm trying it this time. I won't need to say that again. Atmosphere is nice. Beer selection looked ok, service was good; but the food wasn't so good. Colleagues didn't love it either, so not just me. I usually try at least twice because every can have an off day, but price vs quality of meal may make it a while before I try again.
My husband and I went for the first time last night. The pork ribeye was fantastic, but my husband got the cheesesteak and the meat was sour. I know this can happen but most certainly should not with meat. The girls working were very nice and took it off our bill. We will not be coming back after that.
First time visit and a great experience. Quaint and cozy bar with a large dining area. Jen and Mel had the bar rocking and the staff, drinks and food were all top shelf.
